  1. Tracked MEWP is self propelled therefore a separate ticket to spider or static.
  2. Caritool, I used to snap them fairly regular until I started using a hip bag.
  3. Use the little device thats readily available, cant remember the name of it, think its tom something? Simply slide the forks under the tick, lever and twist. Pulling ticks off or coating them can lead to infection has the head can snap of or the tick will secrete toxins whilst dying. Lymmes disease can kill!
  4. Dave, please PM me so I can arrange your outing! Well done, Paul
  5. Alpine butterfly choked off with the unicender. Works very well and very safe.
  6. Well done Mick!, very impressed with Mr X, he did say he wanted to win it for Dave. Can you get Dave to PM me so I can arrange the details. Well done! Whats the total so far? For those who mist out if this goes well I might do another one at Christmas for the children's trust.
  7. I am going out deer stalking shortly so I wont be around for the end of the auction. I will check to see who is the winner and when Mick has payment I will arrange a suitable date for the lucky winner. Good luck!
  8. No it will be in the skin and should still be very warm!
  9. No problem, all levels welcome!
  10. A little more information. Basically if it's in season you can shoot it! I will not charge you a trophy fee as it's a charity event. You can also keep the carcass! You would only pay if you lost it! There are Fallow, Roe and Muntjac in that area. I can not do a DSC2 there as the winner will be shooting from a seat for safety reasons. I suggest you choose your dates carefully, Does are about to go out of season. This will only leave Roe and Fallow bucks with Muntjac both sexes. Good luck! Paul
  11. Kev, looks like you could be on to a winner!
  12. Correct!
  13. That patch would be in South Suffolk/North Essex.
  14. Ok as promised, a chance to win my services as an AW for your DSC2. It must be on your permission and preferably fairly local to me. If you don't know what DSC 2 is maybe you fancy a chance to shoot a Roe, Muntjac or Fallow on one of my patches. I will provide the rifle and the lucky winner will have to do a check zero before being allowed a shot at a deer. One morning or afternoon and it would be from a high seat. I could look into B&B if required. Remember there are no guarantees of a shot but you have to be in it to win it! These are wild deer! Dates to be confirmed. Good luck!
  15. Will do it tonight when I get home from work.
  16. If your on a SRT line that is tied of at the base you just let the grounds man belay you down from the tree. Far quicker than waiting for him to climb and rescue you.
  17. Mick, has the DSC 2 or stalk been sacked?
  18. Cool, must take you ages to prune with that blunt handsaw, it never cuts! 8)
  19. Meant to add rollers turn on full revs.
  20. You can check that it is the board by bypassing it and powering up the solenoid. If you open the box you will see a bridged blu wire with a blue wire next to it. Remove the blue wire from the far side and place it in with the bridge. The feed rollers should turn. You could also re set the board. At full revs,Hold the top and bottom button until the red light flashes, drop the revs to just over half and repeat the procedure holding the middle and bottom button.
  21. What about the Husky topper?
  22. ART Ropeguide makes it brilliant!
  23. You could put the spiderjack on a lanyard so it's at arms length if you don't like using hand over hand.
  24. Good advice kris. Like the wire in your avatar! Ben I found backing the unicender up with a helical with a long leg helped the transition.
