  1. I had a good one........ Building site needed some Hawthorn out to access an area of the site. Got a phone call asking to have a look. Took the gear with me as it didn't sound like a big job. When I got there they wanted it done yesterday. No cards, No Induction, No qualifications......Got the missus to fax a quotation got one of them to authorise the work and cracked on.........when I got finished I asked who the Invoice went too......they gave me a fax number. Waited two months and no cheque. So I phoned them up and was told they cant action a faxed invoice it must be a hard copy. Waited another two months before payment. This is the good bit......got a phone call about two weeks later from the same bloke saying he had a tree problem could I come and have a look at it...... ..........Obviously I told him to shove his tree problem up his 4rse ...........and I warned the other local tree surgeons.

  3. Practice Practice Practice ......One of my lads puts a little nick with the saw both sides of the sink cut so that he can see the height of his sink from the back of the tree. He does this as the tip of the guide bar tends to be lower when he is doing the back cut without this. ....but not sure if that would be allowed on course??
