  11. As ever most of my clients have such poor access those are redundant. Those with big enough gardens and access dont want the lawn trashed. its a lose -lose situation .

  19. No rats, but last year we found a dead fox under the cordwood. Got in and couldn't get out.
  20. wattie , I like the old fart bit. I turned 37 last week and still whip the young uns. I went over to the VT style as soon as I saw it. I have never looked back. ( though I do tie a 3 knot system in the tail of the rope when an extra tie in is wanted. The youngsters usually think I'm nuts but you have to be able to pull tricks out the hat when you want, just to show whos boss) Good luck in trying out new styles.

  23. Thanks , the autumn trimming season is in full swing. The work is dull but I love getting a good finish and more importantly they all come back year in year out. Most book next years work before the ink has dried on the cheque.
  24. 25 miles away and your worried about upsetting your ex-employer. If your a tip top bloke then just striking out on your own is enough of an upset to him. Move on young man, and go places.
  25. Matt no nasty stuff , I just read the OP incorrectly ( thought "the buzz" was a direct reference to yourself) . I'm sure you will easily arise to the challenges of you new position. There was no malice intended in my post.
