update - I took the advice of calling in and nicely asking for cheque. They will put it into account next fri - success!! I also have many other outstanding bills - from people who have told me the are struggling with mortgage and can't afford to pay to people who says a family member is dying oof cancer. Well i have been too soft with costumers lately and been very flexable with them in terms of months waiting for small payments - today i called them all and told them at the end of next week i am going to put all my outstanding bills in a folder and take them all to a solicitor. there invoice will be one of the many in the pile if they do not pay by next friday. - calmness with a bit of bullshit works!

200 id far better. had 201t for a while now and the shock abssorbers seem like they are ready to pop off. also chain break is not a solid as the 200's. Just doesn't seem as powerfull also. 201t is a good saw..but not as good as the 200. -

Yeah i think old school when it comes to these type oof issues. All this legal stuff takes time and costs money to busy trying to earn a living than chase up payments with endless letters...but won't let feckers walk over me by just letting it go. I'll go in one more time and ask them nicely for cheque...if they don't pay i'll tip!

Last minute groundie needed. Must be able to use saw on ground - No felling just cut up lowered branches. Exp with chipper use. 2 days work might turn into more. They have not paid anything, I have spoke to the manager last week and then again today. He pretended like i never called before. .

yeah you are all prob right. will drop in with invoice myself this week and if its not payed i suppose i'll go down the small claim court route.

samll claims court causes time and money! You need to show that you hav done everything you can to get payment yourself. e.g several letters to client and more time. Nothing wrong with giving them back there debris at all. Might slip a little birdie in while i'm at it.

don't have the means or time to do firewood service. Legally - if a builders constructs a wall for a client and the cleint refuses topay the builder still ownes the bricks and can remove wall if need be?? Same applies for tree work. my quote is to remove all debris and dispose of them. If they don't pay me for job done then are they still not the legal owners of the debris?? if so they have have them back.!!

Done a job back in March. felled large ash tree and removed several loads from site. Job was for a factoring company, they have told me they will pay me by the end of week 4 times since july, said several times they have received invoice. Told them on phone 5 mins ago that its costing me so much time chasing it up that if they don't pay by end of week to get all there debris back on the doorstep. Legally where do i stand here. They were supposed the pay me to get rid of there debris etc and now not paying me. Should i give them back there whole tree for not paying me? Going to load up truck this friday and park outside office - give them a choice there and then cheque or 4 loads of heavy timber / woodchips on doorstep. Well raging just now!

Climber needed this wed and thur for Pruning job in Glasgow. Must have own PPE / Climbing gear. Nice thinning job / deadwooding and going to be sunny on wed so its a nice climb. Oh yeah - pm day rate. Martyn

heard that they govermnet are trying to invest into small businesses. e.g more grants etc. need to be under 25 for princess trust. same as Mark. basic tickets..enough exp??
