  1. No problem's with Saturn blades here.
  2. That's what I thought. On the odd occasion it has happened I've replaced the glass. I was talking to a pal of mine who is an insurer, who reckon's that as long as you have taken reasonable precautions then it is up to the home owner to claim there insurance as it was their stone that you hit. Seemingly if you were say stump grinding and you brought a stone up with the grinder which then broke a window then you are liable as the stone was brought to the surface by your action's. I don't really understand the difference so was interested in other people's thoughts
  3. Hi quick question for the grass cutter's on here. What is the liability with regard's to strimming a customer's garden and putting a stone through their window? I know it can happen with even a small stone on a lawn even after an inspection before you start.
  4. I know , not exactly quality reading!!
  5. Not sure how to put a link up, but on the Daily Mail online there is a story of a bloke who caught two men stealing diesel from his yard. He managed to catch them one who he disarmed has two broken leg's and a broken arm the other just got roughed up a bit. He is now facing two count's of gbh ,one with intent! The two thieves were fined £75 quid each. What is happening in this country ?
  6. Nice work. Some good photos there, where were you working ?
  7. Will need to check tomorrow, as it 's down at my yard. Do you do anvils as well?
  8. Load handler do you do spare tip's for Kidd splitter's as well ?
  9. Doe's anyone else find using the towable vertical splitter's, are murder on the back, as the log sit's on the ground rather than at waist level? I have a ls 550 which I'm thinking of mounting on a trailer so that when it is in the vertical splitting position it is at an easier height for working with ,when splitting smaller ring's. I' m sure someone else on here will have done similar, so is it a viable idea? cheer's
  10. Look's good Where did you get the cone and bearing's from ?
  11. I wouldn't bother with the challenger flask , I found it didn't stay all that hot over a day, and the plastic compartment at the bottom breaks very easily, and that was just rolling about on the back seat of the pickup. Get the Stanley!!
  12. I run a 55 plate Navara and have no complaint's. It is the dreaded d22 and other than normal wear item's have had no issues with it,and I live in a hilly area and tow a twelve foot ifor tipper with a lot of grass cutting's, a ride on and a couple of rotary mower's etc. I would buy another, plus it has a lot more room than my old 110 !
  13. Justin did you have a lot of stock nicked, at night or during the day? It must be a hard thing to prevent with the numbers of people coming through the tent.

  17. Look's interesting work, never seen it done first hand. Is there a lot of courses you need to go on before you start doing this work?
  18. How deep do you need to go with bamboo, are they very deep rooted ? I need to dig out an old lawn to put in a garage base that has a lot of bamboo growing in it , having spread from a large clump in a neighbour's garden, and don't want it regrowing through the concrete.
