  1. Is it just me or is this complete crap?
  2. Seconded! They are very easy to deal with, although I've never had to make a claim with them.
  3. Thanks for that. I've read a lot of the old posts on here but just ended up confused! As it's going to be a new venture I'm unsure of investing big bucks until I see if there will be enough demand to make it viable. What are the best type of cutting head or is that just personal preference?
  4. Looking for a bit of advice on stump grinders. Where I live there are no nearby hire shops for grinders and no one has one locally that could even sub out the work to. I'm wondering what suggestions you guys have for a small grinder, probably second hand, to get and use for my own work and to hire out myself and machine to other tree/ landscape firms. I think that it is potentially a good idea but could do with some tips/suggestions from other folk who have gone down this route. I'm not planning to do this full time but just as a extra service that I could provide. I have not used a grinder much but would appreciate some suggestions.
  5. Graeme is a great bloke, did mine with him 6 months ago. Very interesting knowledgable fella!

  7. Five year warranty as well !!
  8. A local dealer is stocking this machinery alongside Echo, has anyone heard of it,used it or know anything about it? Seemingly it sells well in the states and Canada.
  9. Spot on the Clark's cut and climb is superb worth every penny, can't fault it:thumbup:
  10. I live on arran, it certainly is a lovely place to live. The distillery is going from strength to strength, unfortunately I can't stand the stuff!
  11. Hope it continues in this manner!
  12. Couldn't turn photo up the right way:blushing:
  13. Just been given this from a customer whose grass I cut! 4 months tax and mot:thumbup1:
  14. Brilliant! How many hours has that taken to get to that stage?
  15. That is the plan, unsure what size hand winch to use?
  16. Just to save another trip in the morning really.
  17. Not many of my jobs have access to enable a chipper into areas to use a winch in this way. Just easier using the lug all .
  18. Evening all, has any one on here fitted a winch onto a tipping trailer that would be capable of pulling a timberwolf 150 chipper up a set of ramps to avoid two separate trips to site? It seems daft taking a chipper onto site then making another trip to get the trailer to chip into!
  19. Anyone on here heading to Cornbury festival in Oxfordshire this weekend?
  20. Any dealers in Scotland ?
