  6. Thinking of getting one, but need some opinion's . They seem to vary in the weight that they can carry, but what sort of damage do they leave on lawn's when removing ring's etc. Are you better off with Honda tracked or muck truck type? Seem's a big investment but i guess it will pay for itself in reduced labour cost's and back ache:001_smile:?
  7. Where did you get your burner from mate and was it expensive?

I used to work for a lad who had a couple pretty crap in my opinion, although they were better than the alpina's that they replaced!!

  11. Not sure mate, but as far as i'm aware the EA is an English organisation so probably we need to apply to SEPA for one, i may well be wrong but i'm sure someone on here may have experience of this. Where is SWB when you need him?

  18. Newer model's or old one's, just curious why you had 3 before deciding that they were pish? Do the l200 's need to be chipped to help with towing power ?
  19. Yeah a mate of mine bought a new Navara ,it's been nothing but trouble. There seem's to be load's of them about just wasn't sure if he had been unlucky with it, but there does seem to be a few horror stories about them!!
  20. What double cab pick up's do you guy's use and would recommend, thinking about buying one about 5k's worth. Currently looking at 2004 l200.Just not sure how they are with towing heavy trailer's etc.
  21. Yeah it was a straight fell, it had quite a lean on it so the owner's were a bit worried about it, as other tree's which had been sheltering it had blown down in the storm's last winter. The camera angle doesn't really help with guessing the height. It wasn't in a ditch but was a good 20 feet back from the oak's in the picture.
  22. It was a bit easier than that, straight fell then measure it with a tape measure. It was a big old brute, i thought it would of been 90/ 95 ft max, luckily there weren't any target's in the way!!
  23. Evening gentlemen the exact height of the tree was 112 ft and 3 inches. A lot bigger than it look's in the picture, and a lot bigger than what i thought it was going to be when i first looked at it. I did measure it twice as i thought i may of got it wrong, but that was definately the correct height give or take an eighth of an inch!!
