  1. That is an AO41 mount and feed oil via the hole in the bar to the bar rail, this is common on smaller saws like the Husky 236 and 240 models
  2. Blount inc took the lead several years ago and built a factory in China to cope with the demand from the Asia chainsaw OEM's. The same standards, machines and indeed top engineers from Portland and Canada set it up and still oversee it. It matters not which factory be it USA, Canada, Brazil or China products are all made to the same standard using the same materials.
  3. Windsor brand is no longer available.
  4. VX is no longer in production, VXL replaced it and PX replaced VG as the guarded version. I have checked with our production supply chain and it is not available. There may be some stock from the sales channels however.
  5. then use 160SPEA095 and a 91VXL056E chain or 91PX056E for guarded shorter cutter version
  6. Use a 14" as the saw was built for, the Oregon 140SPEA095 will serve you well and use 91VXL052E chain or if you prefer a guarded chain then you can use the shorter cutter version 91PX052E Don't confuse these bars with the domestic SD type which are not suitable for higher output top handle saws
  7. Give Pete Simmonds a call on 01428 707269 Simmonds Saws Petworth if anyone has the exhaust he will, tell him i sent you. Les
  8. I used to sell them when i worked for Sachs Dolmar, good reliable farmer saw
  9. Did anyone else on here see the storage wars UK programme and the container with a chipper, saw, rope, carabiners, clothing etc ?
  10. saw this posh log box in a posh restaurant in Cheltenham the hollowed log was seasoned and varnished and had no cracks [hard wood]
  11. Brilliant, as discussed on here over the years, good initiative all should join, now roll it out to the dealers,
  12. We do not use reclaimed oil, please take the drum back to the dealer you bought it from so it can be examined and if required sent off for test. Oregon chain oil ID Premium quality and we stand by our products, i have had no complaints from my dealers across the south [Kent to Cornwall] or in NI.Ask your dealer to contact their area manager from Blount to follow up ref my request Les
  13. VX is no longer available
  14. Hi Rob i have sold both the ride on rabbit jungle busters and the SC60 and SC70 walk behinds, i've cut grass all over the UK on banks, motorways, gorse even went into a bramble thicket 10ft high wearing a full faced helmet and gauntlets and demolished it, you should have seen their faces when i emerged from another tunnel and went back in again and again until it was gone. They are quality, distributed by FGM Claymore and will give you years of service.
  15. Oregon do not make ALL Husky bars they have had their own bar plant for a few years, if you know what to look for the difference is easily identified.
  16. Try 91VXL052E chain and a 140SPEA095 bar [least i think its an A095 mount]
  17. Hi all Anyone in Kent who has had machinery stolen may wish to contact Margate Police station, I was visiting a local dealer on Friday who told me that thay had recovered during arrests and raids a huge quantity of machinery including saws etc. The dealer was asked to visit to see if he could identify any of his customers stuff. I said I'd pass this on as you never know someone may just get there gear back.
  18. No Flack from me, i agree ! Name an Arb company that runs on 5-10% over cost
  19. Hi Chain comes in 3 grades [thickness of flow] 100 which is really thin [go part oil] 150 the normal grade for saws [Oregon mineral oil] 200 a heavy thicker oil for milling machinery and harvesters Then there is re cycled oil which can be good and also can have left overs from whatever it came from i.e microscopic filings, engine swarf etc. Arborol veg oil version and others use the natural oils found in plants and are bio degradable. Hope this helps
  20. Anyone seen this ? And what do you think Soft wood thinning perhaps ?
  21. clever whats next a robo Arb bot ?
  22. depending on which saw you wanted to fit this to as 95VPX .325 .050 is intended for saws up to 55cc in which case you would need a 150MPBK095 bar and a 95VPX064E chain. I wouldn't run this on a 357, 560 372 etc as they would be too powerful, I have seen it on 435, 346, 445, 450 and 550 series all ok. And mid range Dolmars on K095 mount up to 55cc would be ok on .325 chain already.
  23. A great formula is the 95VPX .325 050 low pro chain and just change the bar to a 150MPGD025 or 160 or 180 for 15-18" using 95VPX062E 067E or 074E chain lengths, this has been featured on Arbtalk and many on here have tried and use this. Faster cutting less vibration and you use the standard .325 sprocket. A 15" bar on an 260/261 is about 10% faster using this chain set up
