    Happy Xmas

I would like to echo that!! Merry Xmas too you all !! Have a nice break and enjoy the time with your family!! And as has been said, a big thank you too Steve for creating the conduit through which we have all met and are able to share our knowledge, exchange ideas, unburden our troubles and most of all have a laugh. Have a good one boys and girls!!!!
  3. Spot on Dean!! Too many people stop because they think they should and others have. Your age is just a number, I ain't gona stop until I find I just cannot do it no matter how hard I push my self, not sure that day will ever come!
  4. Turkey crown here, done in the Arga it comes out succulent and moist, yum!!!
  5. I think they made the right call regarding that trainee, he was way too nervous in my opinion. Not sure he would ever make a production cutter.
  6. They had a hell of a lot of down time though.
  7. Me too Ed!! He had just the right attitude!! IMO!! He did not come out with loads of bull about how brave he was or how dangerous the job was, but he did say that you could die if you weren't careful. I often think that some of the young lads who go on about have dangerous this job is bring the danger with them.
  8. Similar thing though really, liking huskys or being gay (or should that be "and" being gay)
  9. He probably has his tickets! And from some of the posts I've read, a member on here or ex member, lol:001_tongue:
  10. Alex has wanted to get it sorted for a long time, but he has always got 101 things that need his attention. He has got a good team in the work shop now and I think this has allowed him a bit more time to sort things like this.
  11. Personally I can see nothing wrong with this, if they wish to work all day for £25 each thats up to them!. Its one of the benefits of living a free country (of sorts). The only gripe I have is with the uninsured who work cash in hand and claim benefits as well. Other than that I am more than happy to compete with the unskilled, if I found couldn't beat them then maybe if would be time I found a new profession.
  12. Yes and if its not and you get caught its a VERY, VERY serious offense Its the same as owning any FA without a license.
  13. Just a thought, could you not ask a member on here who lives in the area to have squint and report back??
  14. That was more than climbable, in my book.
  15. if you do you are breaking the law!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Obviously a "chipper" is NOT a trailer!!!!!!! If you insure it as such you are NOT going to get paid out. You cannot blame your insurer. If you quoted to fell a tree and when you got there it was a chimney that needed felling would you think that was fair?? I always have a replacement value on all my insurance policies.
  17. But they can't, so whats the problem??????
  18. How do you rate the Heizo Matt ?? Does the John Deer run it OK ??
  19. I have a bad back and sitting makes if much worse. Its much less pain full when I'm climbing.
