  1. The cut up stuff in the back of the truck does look to be lime.
  2. NO! NO! STOP THIS BLASPHEMY!!!!! The 020 is a God among saws!!!!!!!! I could not imagine life without my beloved top handle!!!
  3. The nearest one looks like Ash too me, in which case your onto a winner!!
  4. Normally chip boilers are built too be fairly efficient, as the owner will be buying the chip, for this they need good quality chip. For us the amount of chip it burns (within reason) is not an issue. So if you can build a boiler at the right price, that will burn fresh chip, its got to be a winner!!
  5. What about setting up a mobile phone on a trip wire, to ring you Dean? Then you could rush down there and sort the **** ****s out.
  6. I have read the thread thanks!!!!!!!! I would say reading the label and following "common" or what is know as "good practice" is in no way "unquestioning" Its this kind of patronizing extremisms that turns people off, when it comes to claims of doom and gloom regarding the use of chemical controls, IMO. I think that Quickthorn is speaking about "real commercial world" situations and has looked at and mentioned alternatives that are unfortunately cost prohibitive, how is that unquestioning?
  7. I shall be giving him a call Monday :001_tt1: Cheers Buddy:001_smile:
  8. I think you need to explain that!!!!!! Sounds too me like some one who has done their homework and is acting on the information available!!
  9. Thats the point, a truck with a 3500Kg plate is classed as 3500Kg wether its empty or full.
  10. Very much timber species and size dependent. Only a very few species, such as Ash are at 50% when felled, Horse Chestnut is 150%.
  11. That link just takes you to a huge site, could not see which system you meant.
  12. Would £5K with chip bin be possible?
  13. I pay £1700 for 5M PL and 10M employers, but no tool cover, thats for a turnover of £100,000. I'm with Lycetts, used to be called Algarve.
  14. Hhhmmm:confused1:Good question. Can I tell you in March?, when I have a better idea as to the sort of year I'm going to have
  15. No its not loaded or unloaded weights, its plate weights.
  16. I agree! It could well be like most "bandwagons" once lots of people have set up their fire wood businesses, the competition will drive back down prices. Although I think prices will remain better than they were in the past.
  17. I would be prepared to dry cord wood and chip straight into the fuel hopper, if I could get a decent boiler at the right price.
  18. Sounds good, could you tell us make, model, cost, etc ??
  19. Is he ever out of said book??????
