  1. NEVER EVER take what a copper tells you is the LAW as being the LAW. Many of them haven't a clue:thumbdown: Find out the facts and stand your ground!!!!!!
  2. Yes, Alex Price had one at the APF.
  3. Yes it is a fueling hatch, its about 12"X20". But I tend to open the front and fill it up.
  4. You can get a sucker/blower that just sort of pumps the chip down a 8"pipe.
  5. As I was saying I use this boiler, its good as I do not need to cut and split the wood. But it does have to be fueled daily. Also as fire wood prices improve, I do feel I'm wasting wood, although it does burn pop and willow just fine. I have wanted a chip boiler for a while now, but as you say Ed the cost is a little high, plus I would want one that is not too fussy about chip quality and moisture content.
  6. Has any one else found you cannot go "advanced" when post without it putting up the post first, then as you try to attach the images you can run out of time:mad1:most frustrating
  7. As many of you know I heat my home with this
  8. No he's thinking "look at that bloody mess he's made!! AGAIN!!":001_tt2:
  9. IC TREES, maybe I've just met too many of the "useless" coppers. They seem too me to be just interested in finding something to nail you for, when they would earn more respect by "having a word" rather than trying to chalk up another ticket. IMO, the police force is much like politics in that often "a desire to do the job should mean your excluded from doing it". I have found that many, but by no means all, police officers are very small men (I don't mean in stature) who use the uniform too make them selves feel big.
  10. A lad I know gets £1 per rabbit, they must be .22 head shot. Apparently they get sent to France.
  11. Steve, could you not start using them as a sub contractor??
  12. How very true!!!!!!! :congrats:
  13. I really feel for you Dean, this really stinks. I bet if you told the plod, they would be more interested in wether the the site was safe for the thieves. Hope you come up with a solution.
  14. What a surprise!!!!!!!!! They wish!!! Get us all on a 5 yearly carousel, giving them a living!!!!! NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I take it you will be sending an invoice!!! I'm bloody sure I would!!!!! Cheeky sods!!
  16. Yes Bob it has the 30 second one for when you've overloaded it. It also has a setting that gives you 10% more all the time, it slows all the movements, so you don't get inertia. My trailer tips, so get lump off is never a problem
  17. I pruned some rail side trees at Shap, where that fighter jet had come down. The pilot had stayed in the plane to stop it hitting the village, very brave man. They had removed most of the remains, but there some remains on the tips of some branches, looked like sausage skins. Not a pleasant job.
  18. Me too mate Don't let them take it of you and give you a plastic one limited to 8400Kg.
  19. Good point!, I've had that, they go back together on the shaft and still work just fine.
  20. Thats the way I've always done it. I would try winding the grub screw as tight as you dare and the hitting the pulley with a rubber hammer. Don't know if thats any help.
