  1. Cough! Cough?
  2. Its a way of trying to make logs sound worthless
  3. I think you may be hard of hearing, its 1 billion new money, the other 500 million was already committed too. [ame] [/ame]
  4. I love the fact that you feel the need to inflate the figure by 50%
  5. Unemployment down. Deficit down. Tax take up. Minimum wage up. Tax free earning limit up. To just name a few off the top of my head. I remember you relentlessly plaguing another member to answer your question, yet you will never answer a question:thumbdown: My answer above is a reply to a question you used to avoid answering my question yet again You simply like spouting nonsense, but will never back it up with facts or even an explanation. Its like debating with a 4 year old.
  6. In what way do you feel "shafted" by the tories?
  7. Which sentence? I was amused by your observation, I'm pretty sure Kevin is a contractor, not consultant.
  8. Rubbish. We are happy to sell them our goods and buy theirs. Whats the problem? They are just not happy that we no longer wish to pay for the privilege.
  9. Even if he wasn't, the lack of an election may cause an issue Still no answer to my earlier post????
  10. What? Polls can now force an election? When did this legislation come in?
  11. You've lost me Ian? Do you think he won?
  12. The recent election would suggest you're right. I guess you're not able to answer my earlier post?
  13. Where did you get that from? We don't vote for a PM, we vote for MP's who represent a party. In just the same way as May got the job without an election, her replacement would need no election. I think May will stay longer than most think, but I've been wrong before.
  14. Well said We are here for a "good time" not a "long time". If it makes you happy and adds to your life great, if not pack it in
  15. I went kayaking today with some mates. One is a very wealthy guy would sold a business for many millions. Some years ago he was invited to Number 11 and met Osborn. He asked a very interesting question (IMO) what percentage of the population actually contribute more in tax than they get back in services? I'm pretty sure I've not come close to covering my families costs, 4 births, a baby in intensive care for over a week, a child with pneumonia, a couple of operations for me, etc, etc. Apparently only around 20% of income tax payers put more in than they take out. Obviously all of us who pay a decent chunk are helping to a point, but we really do need those big payers, lets not take them for granted.
  16. And not a fortune, a pretty sound investment I would have thought
  17. This is really cool If I had time on my hands I'd love to spruce it up and take it to shows, etc. RARE 50's VINTAGE/CLASSIC MORRIS MRA1 EX-ARMY 4x4 TRUCK/LORRY HOT/RAT ROD UNIMOG | eBay
  18. They were good saws when new, but an old saw is an old saw, IMO. You don't want to be sinking loads of cash into an old saw, IMO.
  19. Can the Labour supporters please tell why our country is rich? Corbyn thinks the rich are greedy tax doggers, he wants to squeeze them to make a more equatable society. Which on the surface sounds fine, but in reality the vast majority of tax is already payed by the wealthy. If we increase tax why would they stay? Since lowering the corporation tax rate, tax take has increased. Raising it simply makes working hard and making more profit less attractive. I just can't get my head round where the left think our wealth comes from Please tell me what I'm missing? I'm not being funny, I'm genuinely interested.
  20. My advice would be don't bother, the build quality is shocking, IMO:thumbdown:
