  1. Why are some unable to quote posts, is it the site or them?
  2. So basically in YOUR system, we would all vote for the leader of the party we favour and THEY would choose who represents MY area…………………………………. yeah, right thats sound like such a great idea……………………………….. I don't think Its funny how the losing side are so fast to find fault with the system
  3. I fully understand and think its a crap idea Is that simple enough for you?
  4. So you want the whole system to hinge on one person I like the fact that parties put forward a manifesto and have to find representatives for each constituency. It makes westminster at least give us a little thought. I also like the fact that those representatives have the power to remove the PM if enough of them think its necessary.
  5. So you want a President. Our head of state is the queen, which is great as it means we don't need a president. The PM is just the leader of the winning party and can change with no need for a general election. What would be the point of a leader with no party behind them to get bills passed? What a ridiculous idea, we would end up like the USA
  6. Apparently the PR system offered was not the best, IIRC.
  7. Ah!, with you know, making it bold
  8. We had a referendum on proportional representation when Clegg was loved up with Cameron. The country rejected the proposed system, although some argued it was the wrong system.
  9. I didn't know there was any other way of doing .
  10. Very, very smart geoffers Mines looking a bit tired know, need to my mog and trailer it in for a spruce up.
  11. My bigs saws, 880 and 066 often sit for long periods, I never drain the fuel and have never had a problem. Same goes for my strimmer, pole saw and hedge cutters.
  12. You could also replace all the pipes after a spell of none use…………….but this, like Aspen would be unnecessary and expensive, IMO
  13. You really think you get saws from the MAJORITY of the industry Wow!! you must be mad busy, with teams of men working round the clock
  14. In fact my turnover is lower now than it was in 2008.
  15. Not to more than cover my increase in costs, no.
  16. The voices of sense and experience.
  17. Euc is great firewood and is a hardwood. Lime is a hardwood, but not the best, burns a bit quick.
  18. Many, many of us in the private sector have had NO increase in our wage for over 7 years, 1% would have been very nice indeed!
  19. No, its the "unread posts" button, Steve.
