  1. You really think Germany will risk 30K car workers jobs?
  2. Probably none Tim, it does not fit with their narrative. People seem to think we are somehow an inherently rich country and that this wealth should simply be handed out to all. We are in fact a rich country because a lot of people have become rich while making the country rich in the process. If you put in place mechanisms that prevent the rich from being rich and getting richer, you remove the very mechanism that produces the wealth they want to distribute. If you don't believe this simply look around the world at countries that have tried it.
  3. I think the whole idea of "hard" or "soft" brexit is a nonsense. There only brexit. We can't stay in the customs union without free movement, etc, etc. So we will be "Out, out", not just "out" as Micky Flanagan would say
  4. I guess every one is different. I'll be 48 in october, been climbing 20+years and feel pretty tip top
  5. I quite often get the client to come out and tell me "when" as I move the saw up and down the stem.
  6. I disagree. Cameron is a coward. He should have either stayed and seen through the decision of the referendum or not held it in the first place. May cocked up, but at least she is sticking around to deal with her own mess, rather than running off with her tail between her legs. Her mandate is weak, but its stronger than anyone else. If people run a race and no one reaches the finish line, surely the one who covered the greatest distance is the winner.
  7. I'm pretty sure your wrong Tim. I'm sure there are a great many students out there who think they are now debt free simply because they voted Labour.
  8. I think you may have stumbled onto the wrong site
  9. You know I'm not, I posted the fact often enough. But she actually went up in my estimation when she held firm and stayed put. I thought Cameron was OK, but lost all respect for him when he quit. Do you really think a leadership fight is what the country needs right now? I'm pretty sure she will have her ears wide open for any council others in the party have.
  10. She got the same % of the vote (or pretty damn close) as Blair when he got his landslide, its just we are currently in a two horse race. I admire her steel, it would have been very easy for her to do a Cameron and walk away. Why the insults? I guess you lack sound argument, so just get nasty.
  11. So let me get this right, you think the person who party got the MOST votes is less popular than the person who's party got less votes? Could you talk me through the logic you are using to come to this conclusion?
  12. Pretty sure Labour could not form a coalition with a majority even if all the other smaller likeminded parties joined them, so I really don't what they would gain from May standing aside.
  13. So let me get this right……. Corbyn supporters are finding fault with the level campaigners for making promises they cannot keep? Priceless!!!
  14. Are they a prescribed organisation?
  15. I'm surprised they did not all vote Labour. Why would people not want all the things they promise? Its their inability to fulfil their promises that is the reality those of us out of short pants can remember that puts us off.
  16. Yep, offer them some sweeties and the love him Listening to the youngster on TV explaining why they voted is pretty scary.
  17. It is the third time in a row they have lost and as we all know practice makes perfect
  18. Its hilarious, the way Labour are celebrating their defeat says far more about how appallingly they expected to do than anything else. People said Corbyrn could not win an election, he didn't……………….yet they are acting as if he did Its very strange. Obviously the tory's did not do as well as they should have, May performed very badly, but she has also been the victim of a return to 2 party politics.
  19. Unless my maths is worse than I thought, 318 is a bigger number than 261
  20. She ain't When is Cordyn going to? after all he did loose
  21. You have to admire her brass neck!!! She has bigger balls than Cameron.
  22. I can't stand people who mow their lawns, its terrible, they should either let the grass grow unhindered or dig it up and lay astroturf!!!
