  1. Two slow moving vehicles traveling together should leave a large gap between each other, so they can be passed individually.
  2. Some of these posts quite unbelievable
  3. While I largely agree, its really not so black and white. If I had lived 100 years ago my wife and first born son would have both died in childbirth, my eldest daughter would have died aged 4 of pneumonia. So I am incredibly grateful for most of the modern advances that have dramatically improved life for most of us. But as gibbon points out many of the negatives of the modern world are truly horrendous and generally affect those who are not benefiting, which feels to me very unfair.
  4. We live in a world of "have's" and "have nots", its very easy for the "have's" to say how wonderful the world is.
  5. This is the problem with politicians, they are only interested in change, they want things that they can say "we did that" about
  6. I'm not sure thats true. If we followed your argument to its logical conclusion, we would all sit in chairs and live for ever. Exercise is good for your body, obvious abusing your body is not good.
  7. No, people stink and abuse the system.
  8. There would just become a black market in vouchers.
  9. That ain't the end of the road.
  10. They will be forced to drop their rents if the cap comes in, they charge what they do because the social will pay it
  11. I did a two day one (Driving without due care ) We went out on the road with an instructor and the standard of driving of the others in my car was scary!!! I found the course very helpful.
  12. Very true!! But at 25mph would be better still, or 20mph, or 15mph. But really the fact that children and vehicles are mixing on the same streets is just bonkers. Look at all the hassle there was over a very, very few deaths on the railways, £100000's was spent, but 1000's die on the roads and its just accepted:confused1: We get hounded about safety, but the most dangerous thing I do every day is drive to site, but no one ever ask's for a RS or MS for that???
  13. Yes, Peter was going to bring it over for you to try, when is he over next???
  14. I really, really like it!!!! Very comfortable and hard warring!!!
  15. My hens have started laying again!! So spring must be on its way!!!
  16. As David says, we need more information. Pictures always help, also location.
  17. £300 for two men and a chipper?????????? One man and a stump grinder, with no waste removed is £300, two men plus chipper must be worth more surely?????
  18. What annoys me is the sheer hypocrisy of the whole thing, roads are far to dangers to be acceptable, if they did not exist and some one came up this the idea today it would be laugh at as preposterous!!!!!!! But because its evolved over time and is just the status quo its just accepted.
