  1. Not sure wood would stop a saw, if it did you really need to work on your sharpening technique
  2. They go well with our tiny trees, unfortunately
  3. I have friend who's a veggie, he buys shoes that are made in france, they are made from the leather of cows that died of natural causes. Apparently there is a farm where the cows just live happily in the fields and when one dies, they rush out and skin it. They are very expense and I doubt they make chainsaw boots, but I just thought it was interesting.
  4. You mean keep the top rail horizontal???
  5. I wish, I'm lucky to get 2/3 years out of mine before they are falling to bits:001_huh:
  6. I presume when going down a slope you keep the posts at 90 degrees to from the ground, rather than plumb??? Other wise the rails won't fit into the post properly?? Or am I missing something??
  7. TBH as you are wanting it for nothing, not even offering a little something for people trouble, I can't say I'm surprised.
  8. That may work with clean woody stuff, but if you try it with leafy stuff or conifer you will very quickly block the shoot.
  9. Do you think she got a refund?? Or just another go??
  10. You need to decide if you ant to be the master of your own destiny or be beholden to someone else. For me self-employment means I'm in control, thats how I like things;)
  11. How on earth does "chipping the bark" in any way reduce spread????
  12. On the 7th day (while they are off) could you not acid spay the land killing the grass, so even if they came back there would soon be no grazing. Obviously you would need to put up signs warning them what you have done.
  13. The wheel nuts a torqued to 350nm, I believe.
  14. Its actually only labour, so I think you could also make a charge for use of any tools, which again would not be subject to deduction.
  15. Really nice!!! Just out of interest did any other dyslexic's read the thread title as German plague?????
  16. Really, I catch them all the time and hold them in my hand so my children can look at them, never been bitten.
  17. That looks more like a goose step. Monty python don't mention the war style.
  18. You don't lose the money, your just get in credit with the taxman. I have a letter from the taxman saying my work is agricultural and as such I'm except :big grin: PS. Theres no need to shout.
  19. The mog studs are M22, but there are 10 of them per wheel.
  20. I would have cut their lock off and got my gear.
