  1. Have you never seen a professional saw
  2. It will depend on chain length, as with a longer chain you will adjust the bar further out, only problem may be insufficient adjustment left as the chain wares.
  3. Seeing those pictures makes me so angry!!!!!!! Who does he think he is, thieving scum!!!!!
  4. Urea??? They spray the stumps
  5. I always go in on the tab at the top, so I have two windows, one here and one the chatroom, then you can go between the two without logging out of chat.
  6. I think it prioritises those with the highest post count.
  7. I was on Safari, since getting my Mac I can honestly say I have not got frustrated with it once.
  8. Were you on PC's or Phone's??? It worked fine for me.

  10. I believe they can cope pretty well and it can even be beneficial. Apparently root aeration was first developed after the 87 storm. There was a large Oak (I think it was) that had been in decline for may years, after the storm it had new vigour and looked better than it had in years. Its thought that the soil was very compacted around its roots, the gail lifted the tree slightly and this loosened the soil allowing air around the roots. This then led to the idea of injecting high-pressure air into compared soil around roots, which has proved very successful. Obviously each tree is different and any tree that may have been affected should be inspected by an expert.
  11. Yes its really good, we've watched the first two.
  12. You could say that about most equipment, we could all go back to using had saws and burning brash. Better equipment makes us more efficient and there for more profitable. Unimogs are incredibly versatile, often performing the tasks of many different machines in one.
  13. What condition led to the reduction??
  14. I presume your talking about "reducing" As you say they are very prone to rot, painting the wounds won't help. Small wounds in the right places is best.
  15. The velcro is much better IMO.

    Spiking

I tend to keep my legs slightly bent, I feel it puts less strain on my knees. The main problem I see with new climbers spiking, is they tend to keep their knees too near the trunk, you need to get your knees out away from the trunk to get the angle of entry right.
  17. Alloy Geckos!!!! I love mine and I really like the velcro top and bottom.
  18. You may be able to add another reg.
  19. You need a card for any fuel, so you can fill your can, stump grinder, etc. I had a Total card a few years ago, it was for fuel of any type and not for any one vehicle.
  20. I've been advised that 540's would be to big for my machine. We don't go off road all the time and the idea of adding traction just when its needed is appealing. It will almost always be on grass, so I'm hopeful that the increased foot print will help.
  21. Has he really sold 37??????????????????????????? Thats madness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
