  1. The simple answer to those who fear the chips is don't get one, I won't begetting one. Remember all the fuss about ID cards?????????????????????????????
  2. So long as some nutter does not come along and boot all the habitat off to make a video!!!
  3. He won't read this for a while, he's turned off, because if you stay on the web for too long they can find you!!!!
  4. So how do they decide who to ask to tender???
  5. It blows my mind that people believe this stuff, but then people believe in god too, so no real surprise. The only people who have lost their freedom are those who believe this nonsense and live in fear.
  6. Much of that video is simply wrong. Banks cannot print money or produce it on a screen. The government does, it then sells it to banks in the form of government bonds, if banks could make their own money, why would they buy bonds???? If banks can make their own money why did many go bust and need the government to bail them out??? As for Gordon Brown, yes he sold the gold reserves (at the wrong time, for avery poor price) but we had given up the gold standard decades earlier. Banks do not need gold in their vaults, they need assets on their books, the reason for the crash was most of these assets were vastly over valued on paper, so in reality they did not have enough assets to cover their lending.
  7. I'm not sure "scruple" come into it. Many of us are "Tree service" providers, not "Tree care", if my customer wants a tree felled I fell it.
  8. Timber woof????? .Sorry, Ill get my coat
  9. Dogs have had to be kept on a lead for decades, but strangely enough this has not led to people being kept on a lead. I was highly amused by the statement on your other thread, that we will move to a cash less society where money will be replaced by worthless numbers on a screen, what unlike the incredible valuable bits of PAPER! we currently use???????
  10. Maybe thats why they keep abducting us!! But why do they always take Americans???
  11. Its a Schliesing, looks like a 440, but could be a different model.
  12. Interesting stuff, I'm not sure I would agree about other intelligent life not being interested in us. We are fascinated by the intelligence of animals, no mater how much less intelligent than us they appear, we get very excited by any animal that uses tools or appears to behave in a none instinctive manner. So I think our satellites, etc would really interest them even if they see them as very crude. But who knows???
  13. Have you got a link to this information??? My understanding is that all timber has pretty much the same calorific value, weight for weight, Pop once dry is very light, so you will burn more of it by volume to get the same heat as say Beech or Ash which are far denser and heavier. I have boiled my central heating with Pop, it was dryer than I realised and I put to much into my boiler. As has already been posted, get it dry and keep it dry
  14. The smell is a result of it being wet, get it dry and it will not smell.
  15. Thats going to grow like hell now!!! It will be twice as big as it was in a couple of years!!!
  16. Pop often stinks like that when wet. Get it nice and dry and keep it dry, burns great!!!!
  17. Husqy 266 with 20" bar, used it for every thing, climbings saw etc.
  18. Your spelling is not great, "codwood" as in the fish "cod", I thing you mean "cordwood". Hense the fishy comment above.
  19. I'm with a large accountancy firm, it costs me £2000+VAT per year, but they do deal with all my accounting for that, Ltd Co, mine and my wife's personal tax, VAT, tax credits, etc, I've been VAT registered for 12 years and never had an inspection, your expected to have one every 5 years, I wonder if they know the firm I use are on the ball so don't bother inspecting???
  20. They are very good quality pic's, so large files, thats probably whats slowing things down.
