  1. My mog is not even sign written, thats why the neighbour had to ask if the leaflet was mine. We were there on a recommendation from the private school that the customers children attend.
  2. I have never "cried" when I see other firms working, I'm not bothered if they work next door to me I only posted about the leaflets as I thought it was a rather sad thing for that Co to do. I would never act in such a way, I'd be embarrassed.
  3. Assuming you are not Hetas qualified to install and self certify your work if you did not get them signed off as safe to use if he ever has a fire is insurance company will refuse his claim. Suggest if this is the case you get a building inspector in PDQ, A Could you post a link to a documented example of this having happened, or is it just the usual scaremongering
  4. Would that wield really affect the engines performance??
  5. What do you mean??? I think its more than a little sneaky to leaflet an area whilst some one else is actually working there. They were clearly trying to cash in on our outstanding work and professional service, how disappointed are the customers going to be???? Not the first time its happened , we were doing some LA work, another firm started door knocking across the road, they kept pointing at us as the talked to the house holders, I guess they were saying "we are working for the council, but we've got a bit of spare time, if you want any work done"
  6. Yes Alex has my old Ducker (basically a TP), it says its a 5" on his web site, but its not its a 7.5".
  7. Some one leafleted all the houses around where we were working today One guy came out and asked if the leaflet was ours, coincidence???? I think not
  8. TP are nice and light, which important, it would be crazy to go to all the trouble of changing vehicles because of overloading and then sticking a dirty great chipper on the back of the mog and being overloaded with half a bin of chip.
  9. Indeed and I know when its working.
  10. Until I started coming on here I did not think people really believed this stuff!!!! This is truly hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. I'm guessing you don't have children?? And if thats the way you feel about them, I really don't think you should have any.
  12. Please give a link to evidence for this?????? Woods wood.
  13. We ALL live in luxury today, but some of us work and pay for that luxury, some don't.
  14. I'm a looooooong way from Sheffield, I'm not even in Yorkshire
  15. I hope he knows your only codding.
  16. The chipper is not on link arms, its on a schmit (sp) plate, the chipper weighs around a ton, I would not want one any heavier.
  17. Mine was 210HP when it left the factory, I had the engine rebuilt a couple of years ago and it was upped to 245HP, the more power the better really, IMO. I'm not sure how bigger job it would be to retro fit to a standard 1600, the 200HP ones have the cabs lifted, different exhaust, intercooler, not sure what else. Vos do a intercooler kit, but not sure how good it is, not something I would buy.
  18. I've taken 80% in the past and had no problem.
  19. No problem with insurance, got pulled in my old mog (u1000) got done for the rear axel being 2 ton over weight, thats why I bought this larger mog, 10 ton instead of 7.5 ton. I had a front mount chipper when I was pulled, they made no mention of it.
