  1. That makes sense certainly works, they taste great!!!
  2. Please tell me what evidence you have that he was "cutting down a tree" ???
  3. What a ridiculous comparison:001_rolleyes: Ballast is PUT there to do a job and if removed would need to be replaced. This looks to have been a fallen tree. You could go litter picking if you wish??? That would be a better comparison
  4. Taken from the news report link at the start of this thread:- "Initial findings suggest this incident was a tragic accident, however it would be inappropriate to comment further until the full facts have been ascertained." Its such a shame that some of you can't show the same common courtesy as the journalist who wrote that. And people say journalists are heartless.
  5. She uses both, together not sure why?? but they taste great
  6. Just asked, she says VERY hot cast iron pan, butter and olive oil, 2 to 3 minuets max each side, then rest on warm plate for a 5 minuets. She says you need to get the pan and fat really really hot!!! PS, when you say "medium" I presume you mean"medium/rare"??
  7. I will ask my lass, she is a real pro. Tonight I had a beautiful lump of rump, done to perfection, soft and pinky red in the centre, it was Devine.
  8. Yes, sadly this is what we have come to When we have a police officer suing a garage owner, because she fell over a curb in the dark We now live in a world where many are looking for any opportunity to get free cash from any one who some sharp lawyer can pin some alleged blame on. Its very sad, but IMO you need to be asking yourself at ever turn wether your leaving yourself open some liability or other. To my mind its become like security, we need, when securing our tools a equipment, to think like criminal scum and try to workout how their despicable, loathsome minds work and act accordingly. You never know who your dealing with and need to try to keep your backside covered. Also you need insurance, just incase. Its very sad, but thats modern life
  9. Yes but I was referring to his motives, I'm certainly not going to call any one a thief, without know a great deal about the situation. Some of the attitudes I read on here these days are pretty appalling
  10. I get paid to go clear wind blown trees from parks, so some may argue he was saving the tax payer some cash. He may even have been given "unofficial" permission to take the wood. The guy is dead and I find your comments pretty distasteful, we don't know the facts, you are making a great many assumptions. For all we know he may have been collecting the wood for some poor old folk from the village to help them keep warm.
  11. No, because they are "qualified" to train, so very unlikely to do anything that leaves them liable to be found "negligent", plus they will most likely have the required insurance to defend ant claim that could follow.
  12. Tell him to go take a proper training course. Or he could always go look on Youtube for some pointers. Personally I would never attempt to "train" someone and charging for training leaves you wide open if things go wrong.
  13. That does not look like it was cut. My best guess from that picture would be that he was cutting off some of the branches from the fallen tree/part of tree and one of these branches had hit him. So it looks as though he was not felling a tree, simple trying to clear some fallen timber when tragedy struck. Very, very sad.

I suspect its the tiny gob that does it, you can see in the slow motion that it starts to roll as the gob closes. I think to be more accurate you need an open gob to allow the hinge to hold for as long as poss. Really enjoying these vids Reg:thumbup1: Please keep them coming
  15. I have more fillings than teeth (many of my teeth have several fillings) and 4 gold inlays. I also suffered at the hands of the old school butcher dentists in my youth, but you only have one set of teeth, so I intend to keep mine. My current dentist surprised me when I asked what he thought of my teeth, he said my teeth were pretty good because my roots and gums were healthy and every thing else was fixable. I think pulling your teeth is a big mistake, I enjoy a nice steak and would hate to end up on nothing but soup.
  16. Do you do your own fillings too??????????
  17. WOW!!!! Not sure why they did it like that?, but WOW!!!
  18. That was brilliant Reg, had me in stitches!! Glad yours was a Pop, got to have made you feel at home! Thanks so much for taking the time!! As for the negative post, given who made it, no surprise there
  19. Some of you lads need better boots and better spikes. I've been using spikes for many hours a day several times per week for 20 years, with no ill effects and even after a full day on spikes my feet feel fine.
  20. The big difference here in the UK is choice, we know about QE and can take our money out of the bank. In Cyprus the banks were locked down, no money could be moved, until they had decided how much cash they were going to steal:thumbdown:
  21. Good point Andy and we work in such a tiny industry that every one knows everyone else, its very difficult to hide behind a false identity for long, you soon get found out
  22. Comments like this make me so angry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who are THEY???????? The people who trusted him and gave him credit???????? Do you not think he should pay whats owed? if he owed you money, would you not want his car sold and your dept Settled? I'm dam sure I would!!!!!!!!! Was it not you who companied about being stabbed in the back in business!!
