  3. Saw that on friday night, merc must had done a deal with them, as theres a Mog, a Vetros, and a Gwagen, that all perform very well, until there inevitable destruction
  4. Is the centrifugal clutch sticking?? Could be the cutter wheel is forcing the engine round??
  5. Whats wrong with Poplar?? The best Violins are made from Sycamore, hardly a prince among trees.
  6. Its fraud. If they are being fraudulent about what breed the meat is, what else are they being fraudulent in??? Hygiene?? Was the meat even fit for human consumption?? How would my customers feel if I was contracted to remove a large tree in their rear garden, but chose to remove a smaller one from their front garden, as it was easier and meant more profit for me??
  7. Thats one hell of an achievement David!!! you much be very proud!!! Good for you!!!!!
  8. I think they bury them on the fake moon landing filmset
  9. Please post links to the evidence of this
  10. Not sure that will help much, with 90% of the chip coming from USA and Canada
  11. Me too. Not sure I could fill one of those domes with chip in my whole career!!
  12. So you don't show respect to those you don't know? As they will not have had time to earn it I try to show respect to all, until such time as the show me they don't deserve it.
  13. OK, so what times aren't acceptable??? Is 2AM OK?????? Do you really think its polite to ring some one at 7.40AM on a sunday morning?? I guess if some ones paying you they don't need say "please" or "thank you", I guess you bow and scrape to any who are prepared to pay you money, expect no coffee, tea or other refreshment. Thats not my way, I try to treat all with politeness and respect, I say please and thank you to all, trades men at my home get plenty of drinks, cake and bacon butty's. And I expect others (regardless of money changing hands) to be respectful to me. But hey, thats just me.
  14. Brilliant!!!!!!! The legend continues!!!!!!!
  15. Exactly!! I think it comes down to up bringing and consideration for others. I would not dream of calling anyone before 10AM on a Sunday morning, its just common curtsey, IMO.
  16. True, but they are clearly a strange person, with little or no concern for others, is this really the kind of customer you want?? No customer is better than the wrong customer, IME.
  17. A tree falling can be an emergency and usually unforeseen, how can some one only realise they are out of logs at 7.42 on a Sunday morning????? Its OK saying turn the phone off and let the machine take the call, but we need our phones on for emergencies or family calls.
  18. :sneaky2:I bet she did It costs far more to do "Ltd" accounts than "sole trader" accounts, so your accounted would prefer us all to go limited. You need to look into it closely to see if its advantageous for you to be Ltd. I started a Ltd Co in 2000, but at that time Gordon Brown had set a trap to get people to go limited, he gave us tax free dividends up to £30K, he closed the trap in 2005. Corporation Tax is currently pretty much the same rate as the lower rate income tax, so unless your a higher rate tax payer I'm not sure what advantage there is.
