  1. You need to take care doing this. In the past I have been asked by developer to chip brash thats been cut and stacked, I had to point out that it was the nesting season and birds were nesting in the piles. The stupid thing was they had rushed to get it cut before bird nesting season, but birds love to nest in stacked brash, so they had totally wasted their time cutting it.
  2. Personally I think they are pushing things there, thats clearly a hedge, wonder what they would have said you you had told them you were just reducing them?? Would they really TPO that hedge????
  3. Why fit those tyres to the front???
  4. Is it not the home owners fault for have a house built so close to the boundary, what if the squirrel was jumping from an adjacent house?
  5. Soon dig a very big financial hole if work slows though.
  6. Heat a needle red hot and melt a hole in the nail, it will release the pressure.
  7. Not so, I think they want your turnover to be under £150K, but it was a few years ago when I joined, so it could higher now. The VAT threshold is £77K so a maximum of £80K for the FRS would not be much good.
  8. I'm not getting into an argument, but many people have suffered serious lacerations, through their trousers.
  9. Saw trousers will not stop a saw until you have done serious damage to your leg. Most PPE only helps reduce injury, they rarely prevent it completely.
  10. Just to clarify, I was in no way suggesting that PPE should not be worn, just that it only offers limited protection and avoiding an accident is the best way to stay safe, rather than being sloppy and thinking your safe because of your PPE.
  11. What out for cutting stems that lead to un-removed parts, or you end up with dead brown sections.
  12. I was not looking for glory. I was appalled by the "thats a scam" comment, and said as much when it was posted. The ebay seller was clearly upset, (with some justification, IMO) I'm just glad that he could the false statement had been challenged. I disagree that it was "just a comment" and said so, the other poster disagreed. As for "stringing it out" I have posted only a few lines in my defence of the fact that the post was more than "just a comment", the other poster has posted copious amounts in disagreement with me. And now surely you are the one stringing it out
  13. Chipper on the front and HIAB on the rear would be best, IMO, but may not be easily done.
  14. He might be getting divorced and his ex gets half of all sales
  15. Wait 21 days, then if its not arrived start your dispute
  16. Again which of my posts defends his post????? I have disagreed with your comments not agreed with his, go back and read it again
  17. £35.55. If you pay by Paypal (make sure you go to the proper Paypal page) and there is a problem you will get a refund.
  18. The problem is people seem to think they are entitled to it, they seem to think its waste, but then they want it to burn, so surely they know it has value:sneaky2:
