  1. Unless I'm mistaken the thread is about the way you will vote, not what you think the result of the election will be.
  2. I'm no physicist, but I'm fairly sure that a bullet and fresh air have quite different characteristic.

  7. Its a lot of money, plus they want VAT on top.
  8. I'm guessing you feel they are bias, maybe, but most of what I have posted is available information from other media. In actual fact I'm often very impressed by the independence of many of those who present on Radio 4. I've been listening to it most days for over 20 years. On PM last week Eddie Mair on PM interviewed a guy who was involved in dealing with the Clarkson affair, Eddie gave him a very hard time, asking why Clarkson had not been fired. Asking what some one had to do to be fired? and how ridiculous it was that he had simply been allowed stay until the end of his contract. The guy being interviewed was pretty shock that he was not given an easy ride.
  9. I would never tether a dog, its very cruel IMO. Mine run free within my grounds.

  11. The death threat is being investigated by the police and thought to have come from overseas
  12. He is far from redundant, he simply no longer has a contract with the BBC, he will no doubt still be earning a great deal more than any of us ever have or ever will.

  15. Yes its true, the BBC have not "sacked" him, they are not renewing his contract, which ends in a few days. Unfortunately (for the BBC) May and Hammond's contracts end at the same time, meaning the end of the show (in its current form anyway) Someone in the BBC has cocked up, their contracts should all have had different end dates, meaning the other presenters would have been contract bound to continue with the show, this would have at least given the show some chance of survival in something resembling its current format.
  16. As he had less than 2 weeks of his BBC contract left when the incident occurred your theory seems a little implausible.
  17. But going higher and cutting small would have been MUCH faster than setting up all that rigging. I think they were hopping to make a "cool" video
  18. Why did the avant not just lift it from the side?? or where you just staging a pic
  19. This is all true, BUT a Pop like this is never going to make a good pollard, IMO, this work really is just managed decline.
  20. I just use a tiny FM radio and small ear bud type ear phones under my standard ear defenders.
