  1. Another 2 cube of beech for the pizza man.
  2. In this weather yes, but in October when is raining:sneaky2: I'm not so sure.
  3. Not to mention the fact that its becoming more and more clear that all low calorie sweeteners are probably responsible a great many cases of type 2 diabetic. Its pretty obvious really, you eat or drink something sweet, your body produces insulin to deal with the sugar, then there is no sugar, it can't be good for you.
  4. Not sure domestic customers or their neighbours would appreciate that
  5. The Italian who owns the pizzeria that burns my logs insist on kiln dried beech, 15" long logs.
  6. Most trees that are retained on development sites die within 20 years of the building work any way. Would be far better to insist on planting a high replacement ratio IMO.
  7. Me too, bring it on
  8. Or that more trees would be left alone if the owners knew they would always have the right to remove them in the future if they so wished.
  9. I have Beech going out steadily for a wood fired pizza oven.
  10. Its not a "possibility" its a reality, I've felled 1000's for this very reason.
  11. Is 98% of the earths oxygen not produced by algae in the sea?? I wonder how many trees are felled because the owner is concerned that they may be TPO's in the future. I also think that TPO'd trees should be maintained by the state, it just seems wrong to me that people are made to keep trees they not like for the sake of others and stand the cost of their maintenance.
  12. One of my mates bumped into David in manchester, he was very friendly and was happy to pose for a picture with his son, seems he is a nice guy who appreciates his fans But hey please don't let these facts get in the way of the haters:sneaky2:
  13. Busy here, not enough hours in the day, days in the week.
  14. I'm on at lest one council list of "Approved contractors" although its a petty extensive list, so I'm not sure how helpful it is.
  15. I've been speeding for 30years that don't make it legal
  16. Is it legal and safe to mix them? and what mix is best? Spraying is not something I do much, but I've got a fair bit of our own land to sort.
  17. Why are people so inarticulate that they feel the need to resort to expletives?? Trying to find ways around the rules always ends in them being broken, IMO.
  18. I think the growth rings indicate Yew, I don't think any other softwood have such tight rings/slow growth.
  19. Yikes!!!!! Could the driver not have stuffed it into something before he got to the bottom of the hill? My grandma aways told of a time her and my granddad were in the lakes, she was driving (she generally did) at the top a very steep hill she exclaimed that the brakes had failed, the peddle just hit the floor. Cool as a cucumber my granddad leans over takes hold of the wheel and stuffs the car into the drystone wall, my grandma was appalled!! until he pointed out it was far better to hit the wall here at low speed rather than at the bottom of hill doing who knows what speed!!!
  20. A lot will depend on how warm you want your pool, I like ours around 34C.
  21. I wonderd how long it would take
