Green Ash burns better than all other green timbers, but once seasoned its not the best, seasoned Beech will make green Ash look pretty crap, as others have said if your stuck green Ash will get you warm. I have in the past burned Ash the same day it was felled (winter felled), but I did end up having a chimney fire My advice would be to try and get organised and burn dry wood, once you get in front, you will have a better fire and burn less timber for more heat

I was told they are trained, many are retired copper, apparently.

The police speed camera vans are maned by volunteers. There is far to much emphasis on speed and not enough on all the other poor driving, imo.

Why don't they simply turn their stove down? If it's an open fire bigger logs are best. Slower burning wet logs are a false economy, as they are simply wasting heat. -

Because they are both very extreme in their views and then set these views as "fact" rather than simply their opinion. They then get the establishment to accept these "facts" anyone who dares to express a differing opinion is then labeled as racist or sexist. They refuse to debate the issues, as the facts have been established. This then leads to banning people from the Country, universities, etc. "Safe spaces" are established in schools and collages to prevent these "facts" from being challenged in debate and discussion.

Yes the world is now bonkers, there is an agenda of multiculturalism and cultural equity that is stuck to, any story that threatens that is shut down and hushed up. Near me there is a graveyard, there is an ethnic group have taken graves there and some have not paid, the person on the council who is responsible for getting the payments was going to start proceedings, they were moved and the job taken over by someone else more on massage.
