Titan pro log splitter 10 tonne. petrol driven | eBay No idea what these are like or if it would you suit you but it's well in budget. Depends how much your going to split, this is better than an axe for sure but if your going to be splitting many many tons a year you might want something more powerful.

Maybe due to lack of the right licence?? Plus the O licence isn't suitable for everyone.

I cut trees down all day, then I come home and talk on the Internet about cutting trees down, THEN when I turn the TV on, I watch programmes about cutting trees down. I really should find a hobby!!

If you have nearly 400 to spend, I'd wait til you have £520 ish and get a husqvarna 365 with an 18 inch bar. Perfect logging saw. Or check eBay for a decent second hand one, some have gone cheap recently.

There's not too much to know mate, 70cc, will run up to 24inch bar nicely, nice and light for the power, just getting on abit bit, if it's been looked after OR if your going to refurb it, I'd take the chance, I'd have one tomorrow if I knew where there was one for sale for the right price
