  1. Can you covert oil to air brakes?
  2. Don't most holds rely on inflicting pain? What would you have done if your opponent didn't feel pain?
  3. I don't know what else could have been done short of shooting the unfortunate Mr Floyd. A 6 foot 6 inch man hopped up on Meth and Opiates would take quite some stopping I would imagine. As I understand it he was caught in the process of passing off counterfeit bills, the restraint was a result of him breaking the law once passing the bills, then resisting arrest. Can any Arbtalk martial arts experts advise on what other methods of restraint that the officer(s) could have used?
  4. Why not perform the suggested fix and stop moaning? If that dosnt work, try something else untill you find something that does work. Basic reasoning Ty. Ps I think you are an absolute babe.
  5. Three big Spruce from the other day
  6. You sound quite justifiably proud of the success your Company enjoys. You are not the guy I thought you were, apologies for the assumption.I mixed you up with a fella from Dunedin.
  7. I drove past you working last time I was in Dunners. Your kit was the same as I used when I left in 99. Except it wasn't 20 years old then and everyone earned more, fuel was half the price and competition non existent in South Otago. Good luck with Cindy's new utopia, when Aunty Hellen makes a slot for her at the UN ,Cindy will have the keys to China on the way out the door. Change my mind.
  8. How many are going to die waiting for operations?Chemo, suicide, domestic violence etc? The death toll in NZ from the common flu is 500 per annum. What Magic Cindy did was the financial equivalent of Chernobyl for the New Zealand economy. She is after the lowest death toll from Covid so it makes her look good on the world stage. The surge of deaths in the months/ years after won't be reported by the lefty media, especially in the wake of the hand out they received. Anyhow,I chose to leave New Zealand to actually make money doing treework.Making decent coin in the aftermath of the current government's "loan-a-rama" is going to be a distant memory.
  9. Cindy kept 5 flights a day from China landing in NZ up to two weeks before the lock down. Medical experts basically told her they needed to lock down because she had left the gate open this long and there was no other choice. She failed to quarantine an Island in the middle of an Ocean and you strangely think she has guts? How much free Money has it taken for you to vote Labour?
  10. I broke my titanium Buckinghams. The flucker just snapped. 17 years old so can't complain Might try the aluminium baseline that were all the rage in the 90s
  11. I have done worse. Now days I would want an hourly rate for job like that. You could strip it out roped into the stem behind, use that to rig from and "ping" pretensions sections back using a GCRS. It's your skin and you were there not me,the client sounds like a twat.
  12. Income from Arb is very regional mate, whatever country or part of that country you might be in. For example a good contract climber might make £200 per day in London but £500 per day in Norway. Likewise the same climber,no matter how good they might be,might struggle for work in the North East of England. It's up to you if you want to follow this path or not,but practically any other trade is going to pay you more for doing less. Good luck and if you want to do it,then go ahead.
  13. Business tax laws in Sweden are alot more favourable for a small business I beleive. In 13 years of living here full time I know of half a dozen small companies who have moved from Bergen to Sweden. I can't ever remember meeting a single Swedish business owner here however.
  14. Though the power of Google I present to you! Bjørn (Model name)Also means "Bear" Drammensjernstøberi ( manufacturer) literal translation "Drammen Iron Foundry" Drammen is a town about 2 hours drive South of Oslo. Key words :peis (enclosed fireplace) ovn (enclosed fireplace) "histori om Bjørn peisovn fra Drammen jernstøberi" typed into the search bar would likely yield quite a bit of info?
  15. I have had a twin Axel Brian James tipping trailer for going on 6 years. It carries a tracked chipper or wood chop/logs every day. No gripes at all with it. I have never had a load in it that it wouldnt tip,it towes well and is easy to reverse. I feel that it's more trailer for less money than an Ifor
  16. What is it that you actually do on the platform Andy?
  17. I have teng and a Norbar torque wrenches. Happy with both, they see a fair bit of use and are over 10 years old now.
  18. My Grandfather was a Aircraft Mechanic and Pilot as far as he took the Aircraft up after they had been repaired. He left NZ in 1939 and came home in 1946.He served in Europe, the Pacific and guarded prisoners in Malta before he came home. His Son was nearly 7 before they reunited. Colonial Soldiers,Sailors and Airmen were treated like shit. His father served in Galiopoli and Ypres before being gassed. His Father served in the Boer war because despite being a new immigrant to NZ he still owed the fare and taking the Queens Shilling was going to pay that off. Aircraft Mechanic Rifleman Mounted Infantry
  19. Why wasn't anyone's Grandad a farrier/clerk/truck driver during the war? Most people's Grandads were Snipers/Commando's/LRDG/SAS etc. With that many killers on our side I wonder how the war could jave lasted 5 years? My Grandad was actually a founding member of the Deep sea sky diving Battalion after killing all the undersea Japanese in the North Sea he went on to chase Rommel out of North Africa as a member of the Long range desert windsurfing squadron. But he never liked to boast.
  20. I sold my tracked Jensen with about 3500 hours on it,it's still going strong as far as I know.
  21. That looks nice John. How much did it set you back?
  22. How many tickets were pre-sold? Might have been a blessing in disguise.
