Yes.I worked in Baden Wurtemburg after the Storms of 1999/2000. There was alot of Forest and Urban Trees toppled.Nice place,good people,top food and Beer.

Hamadryad and Treequip both have substantial points. I do enjoy the UK for its history and easy of Travel to other countries.The UK does entertainment of the indoors variety very well. I worked with a guy who would pay about £750 to trot off to Dartmoor in his cammo trousers to learn how to light fires and cook Squirrels.When he returned form his course he felt like he could live for weeks on end with nothing more than his "Ray mears Knife and fire steel combo". He never learned to use a map and Compass,navigate in close country,or even to wear his boots in before a journey.I think the most worrying thing was,he was never told to tell others of where he was going or his intended route. Every year in New Zealand half a Dozen tourists go missing and normally turn into a pile of Bones clad in "techno fleece",miles from where they were supposed to be.A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

New Zealand. There it is possible to be more than 40 miles from a licensed establishment,where in the UK it is not.There is no "wilderness" in the UK,well except inside the minds if weekend "survivalists".

Don't have carb problems,never had. I do clean out the tanks about every month,small amounts of water and debris cause reliability problems. I have heard about Sthils carb problems,no doubtabout it.But in my opinion they are still the premier top handle unit despite some problematic production runs.

The Tree stood in a sandy paddock and the Barkwould have had alot of sand in it.Also there had been a structure nailed to the Tree in the past.Removing as much bark as possible saved the edge on the saw.....until I hit some Nails in the back cut.....

We had a big Radiata to come down.We felled it eight feet off the ground as the bank behind had slid down making the Stump hard to get at. We groomed it with the digger to get the thick bark off. Then we threw down some quality lunges. YouTube - treebogan's Channel

If its increased capacity you are after and not increased off road ability I would look at a normal tip truck and chipper combination. If a Mog is really what you need,then go out and drive a few.Loading logs manually is a bit of a pain due to the hight of the deck and rear mounted chipper (if you mount it there).Parts are expensive and travel speed of many mogs is slow in comparason to normal trucks. However if the bulk of your work is near your base and you regularly require off road capability in excess of a normal truck then a Mog might be for you.
