  1. hey bro. Craig has done sirius onto a pinto with good results, personally i find it a right pita.especially the second eye as your finding. Samson prussic cord (blue and white) is a lot easier to do.I havent got any quick fixes bro sorry-apart from cut it off and try the samson cord or icetail or tenex. However you could pull the splice apart and just retry it,try back milking it as your trying to bury it and liberally hitting the throat with a rubber mallet/hammer head. Good Luck:)
  2. can you explain bro?
  3. just go and climb...
  4. i think the 6mm globe is a bit too small bro as you have to lift the pinto more to get it into the eye. thats only what ive been told though as ive got 8mm snakeskin on mine. bad news about the stitching bro-wanna send it up and ill do it properly?
  5. glad its working for ya ian
  6. best bet is go to a dealer and try both though bro or try and borrow for a day and see what works for you.To make things difficult, ive tried friends motions on and hated them as they were set up differently to mine-its massively down to personal preference but i wouldnt even consider getting anything else.
  7. The petzl harness can written off before use if you read the specs. My motion is over 4.5 years old-ive changed the webbing, padding etc.. and it still feels like its straight out of the box.
  8. yep, id say so
  9. its the same as every harness i believe.dont worry about it, its strong
  10. a few more..
  11. wire fid all the way. for a lanyard i just remove the purple inner core.makes it a very easy splice then:)

  16. its part of work here bro. why dont you drink coffee on holiday??
  17. If i wasnt in Nz i would apply asap bro. sounds a wicked opportunity for someone. do you offer short term work if i came on holiday:)
  18. hey bro-ive been thinking the same. enough wire to help with flipping but not for chainsaw resistance. Is this what we talked about before in singapore? thinking some 3mm brake cable with factory stops on the end might work. should still enable it to work with a hitch or even a cinch. note to Al-were not all in the UK bro:) but i hear what your saying..

the anchors were custom made bags that we dug into the ash and then backfilled with the ash. Probably held about a tonne i reckon-they had webbing sewn throughout the bag and we attached to this via 7 2tonne shackles and mutiple 1 tonnes webbing slings. you could hang a truck of those puppies and they wouldnt move. we had 1 per climber for me and johno.
