  6. yesterdays work at the shop:001_smile:
  7. kinda forgot bro-ill get onto it. unfortunately the best ones are copyrighted (for some reason the best photos where by the pro film crew) so ill sift through mine and see what i can come up with. we had such bad weather on this trip that the photos arent as good as last trip, but what we did this time was more impressive(from my perspective).
  8. no mark-i think the gay remark is still valid:)
  9. Pretty sure the current world tree climbing champ wears em. Good enough for Scotty.
  10. No probs bro, whatever is easy foryou. Name the date and we will drive down.good times:)
  11. lets set a date then-CET will be in full attendance mate
  12. nice rich. i hate splicing blaze-that looks neat bro.
  13. or have a locked dynamic rope a cple of meters too short. the stretch will bring you too a nice stop (just get ya measurements correct!)
  14. Australian Tree Climbing Gear And Rope Access Equipment :: Rope Access Equipment :: Ropes :: Static Life Lines & Rescue Lines :: Yale Kernmaster 11mm Blue there was maybe a 8m drop between anchors and possibly 25m run-i think. also the tension was put on just using a fiddle block if my memory is correct
  15. harrison rockets bro-these just last longer Harrison Rocket: made in New Zealand
  16. its funny how you climb on non ce rated trees but cant use non ce rated equipment thats used worldwide.seems kinda silly imho
  17. some splices from today just standard double braids
  18. you look old in that pic ian
  19. Armour Prus 10mm bro-super static but still soft to hold yet ascenders run real good on it. Ive got Globe 10mm and its good for ascenders but i find it too hard to hold onto for footlocking-but saying that Nicky Ward Allen holds the world record FL on globe and JimmyK holds it on AP. shows there both pretty good lines!
  20. mark, i bought 2 just in case......
  21. well it rained like crazy on the friday and thus all climbing got cancelled. All the trees were smooth gums which some of the american climbers had never seen before and couldn't believe how slippy they were.Saturday morning arrived and the rain had stopped and the trees appeared to be drying out pretty quick. I get the feeling that some of the stations in the work climb had been made a bit easier due to the slippiness and rope had been girth hitched around the limbs to give some sort of grip for the climbers-if not it would of been ice skating, not climbing. Rescue was dummy tied onto lanyard and had dropped the hitch side of climbing line and also suffering from low blood sugar levels.again super slippy. Jim K practically equalled his world record footlock time in the rain. Speedclimb looked horrendous due to dry gum tree and wet slippy boots. Once i resize my pics ill chuck 'em up.....
  22. going on from the spiderjackery and frictionhitchery vids people were saying that they had obviously practised practised that tree to death. If you had seen joe and scott at the worlds masters tree youd realise that its just a stupid amount of climbing talent these 2 guys have.awesome to watch them climb.
  23. just micro stitcing down the length-the prussic with the pinto keeps the legs together in use.
  24. nah its in OZ. but if you make it to nz im sure we can suss something out for ya bro
  25. we had a second line that was measured to hit a stopper knot a metre or 2 from the end to stop you going into the tree. the zipline rope was yale ultra static access line
