  6. Bowline tied with clove hitch intead of the loop? dont know the name but comes undone after loading really easy-good for pulling stuff out with, such as stuck vehicles.

i know!!! how do i go abou it? tips from jonesie please!!
  9. another piece of kit........ Designed to be an emergency descent system originally for firemen to exit a burning building-were looking at it as an emergency descent from bucket truck, MEWP etc.. in case of bee attack etc.. no idea of cost and im sure it can be made cheaper BUT it does look nice wrapped up in its own little bag. apparently all New York fire fighters now carry them on there harness'. all the components are heat proof too.

anybody wanna swap some spliced armour prus for some celox? you cant get it here....
  11. quick hitch for sending rigging lines up.
  12. so should this of been felled? i think its awesome.
  13. great bits of kit, i prefer the cocoon version on rope as it seems to get jammed in crotches less but the 07 version on webbing is still a great bit of kit-i do like the shock absorvber system. once you learn all about placement of it, it doesnt get stuck much. the double snapper is great also but ive lost the little black cap for mine and cant get a replacement from anywhere....
  14. my first 'motion wore through in a few months but it got sent back to austria, the local dealer gave me a replacement whilst mine got fixed. Since the new hardware was fitted ive noticed very minimal wear and this was about two years ago. I got the sequoia SRT but just felt like a butterfly (and thus returned)and didnt have the range of movement that the 'motion has. as always try before you buy.
  15. theres no way i could wear full protection in the summer here in nz, just front protection becomes way too hot. and ive got the husky trousers will a full zip down the back of the thighs to help cool down.
  16. and then leave in place as an access line?
  17. didnt know you had a dog called staff adam?
  18. ive had the air streams for a cple of months now and previously had the klima airs. air streams are heaps lighter and comfier but feel like they wont last as long-some of the stitching has started to fray at the back of the heel and a bit of the rand has become unglued.im sure the rand can be regkued real easy though but the stitching is a bit of a concern BUT they are very comfortable and provide heaps of support.
  19. the only solution i can think of is too use the one where the actual bridge extends- i stopped using it when i had a prussic on but now ive got a helical instead and it works sweet-def works with the treemotion but not sure about other harnesses, i think it would be sweet ona butterfly too. When you have to re anchor a lot they all become a bit of a pain apart from this one. glad there working for ya mate!!
  20. they had a redwood in the speed climb down at queenstown and the winning time was 2mins something!! killer.
  21. why no treemotion? cant fault mine.
  22. whats wrong with wetas man? there awesome insects and dont do any harm at all-you cant seriously want to squash one!!! i love em.
  23. do ya mean a revolver into each alpine bro? if so its retrievable...
  24. yeah it is, just like witches broomsticks. some trees are covered in them, some have none whatsoever.
