  2. 9k - wasnt without drama, the diff went on the rear axel yesterday morning, you couldnt tell really unless on a long drive.... Anyway rangthe chap up and was truefull he still came tested it and liked it.. i am fitting a new rear sals axel today.... The landy must of known and not wanted to go, she gets mothered with me......

Thats it, Moving to Cumbria this weekend from Bury Lancs, Sold the bizness, my new biz partner bought it to close and get me to work with him in a larger land consultancy and the defender tipper went tonight..... Everything is falling into place finally Only problem is with the current market we cant selll the house in bury, so if anybody is looking for a country cottage to rent with an acre of land and small yard pm me.... anyway i am very happy and tucking into a few cold buds and a takeaway mans tv-discovery channels (home alone packing up the house while the wife and dogs are already in cumbria)

  12. Bummer that - get your money back........ What i have learnt with ebay is bid at the last minute if the price seems cheap then, then ? it... Many people have cottoned on how easy it is to rip people off on there... Shame really as ebay is generally brill but like everything let down by not nice people.

  20. We import a system from the states called arborbolt..... Is a great system - google arborbolt for details
  21. Many legal and coyright issues with memory map I would suggest the Juno Pda with Pocket GIS
  22. new looking drive and landscaping + unwashed stone/gravel + root damage = sick trees... Damaged roots - compressed roots and poisoning of roots by gravel....
  23. Try A Trimble Juno st PDA with in built gps, was made with forestry in mind and gets good reception under canopies, also with the correctional software can give you sub metre accuracy..
  24. Remember cheap/small gps are only accurate to 20ish metres..... If you try to plot 2x trees that means they could be 40 metres out....... You need to be spending £600 + on gps otherwise you might as well buy good OS mastermaps and use landmarks and plot by hand
