  1. i wouldnt of thought so matey, i cant see how they could, i can still get them around these areas
  2. you want to use them every time, mine stays on my rope 100% of the time dude, saves alot of wear on your rope and makes it easier on your arms!!
  3. i wear yellow because its good visability on the ground and in the tree and plus nobody i know has a yellow lid so its easy to identify after dinner:proud:
  4. not if there isnt anything around the base, i personally always do TRY and get it in the right place, oftern there is walls, fences, greenhouses etc but in his situation it wouldnt matter too much
  5. spike it!!! its only a dirty conifer!!!!! no only joking dude when you get to where you want it to come down to strip it up from there but just leave 2 pegs side by side every 2ft to stand on and deffo double wrap your strop!!!! try to get as close to the top as possible, if you do it in small enough bits then it dont matter where they drop too much but try to get it all where you wanted it!
  6. well i think i might just buy 3'5 m of rope and get them to splice my snap hook on the end, will save any hassel!!!!
  7. my old boss went and so did a couple of mates, said it was very indepth and technichal, i wish i had gone but thought it was more expensive than 120quid!!!!
  8. with a bit of luck march next year...... as long as im not stck doing mundane trees every day then ill be happy!!!
  9. i have a gomtaro and have used one fir years but want a zubat but im not going to buy one when my gomtaro is still going strong, id like a curved blade!
  10. i want old ropes splicing, obvoulsy ill pay what needs to be paid, i dont need new ropes so im a bit stuck, whats this new krab look like?

  15. hown much can it hold on full reach? the last crane i saw it could only hold a bag of sand right out on the tip!!!
  16. started work in a garden center!!! and decided pansies wernt enough so got a job with a local arb approved firm, with them for nrly 4 years then got sacked for something silly and 1 year on my own and still going strong, so thats 5 years
  17. helical split larch crane jobbie it was a dangerous tree!
  18. nailed ash! all the nasties were covered by ivy at the begining, you can see it all on the floor in the first picture
