  2. looks ok to me, im with tim on the spikes and harness tho, i started and still use the sliding d version and its alot better than the fixed one..
  3. hell yeah, my mate actually saw the caravan serving food a while back and we didnt have a scooby what it was doing!!!!!! now we know!!!!!!

  5. my mate told me about a wall of death yesterday so we went to visit,then looked on the net and found them on you tube riding it!!! [ame] [/ame]and a few months earlier we saw a caravan selling food while on the move!!!!! turned out it was them!!!! [ame] [/ame]

  20. dont go too high at first, poace your self, i rember being on a 50ft leaning pop with no brash on it and the groundies(v experienced climbers) pulling on the rope and making the stem rock like a mother!!!!! scared the crap out of me!!!
  21. mine was deffinatly haveing no confidence in the 'flex' and movement of trees and slipping on my spikes!!!! think alot of it is phycoligical(exceuse the spelling) but i think alot of 'fear'comes with in experience, most days i feel fear but i think it can be controlled like being up high on a pole etc:icon14:

  23. so you have 2 leaning stems together with little gap and they need to be felled opposite ways, there about 20ft tall and 3 inches in diameter.........what do you do then?i cant see it being bad practice on the odd occasion, this jobs all about doing what works safely and aslong as you start high so you still have a hinge and step then why not???? yes but in a situation its acceptable
