Sorry not correct can be a 3 or 3 man rescue at the discression of the assessor Needs to be a fail safe system ie if the guy was lowering on a capstan and let go the casualty would SPLAT if backed up with a prussick and was PPE loler compliant ect then fine Presently ALL Assessors are going on a standard setting series of dates

Not covered by LOLER But is covered by PUWER Many company,s adhere to Puwer by implementing LOLER IE if it needs ispecting under PUWER the easiest legislation that covers it is LOLER and takes the fact that how it may be used out of the equation Also LOLER does cover LIFTING Lowering and SUSPENDING so B110 would IMO be correct on the Steep slope Ie if the winch was taken off would it slip slide or fall But like a lot of things open to interpretation But to cover all arses an examination every 12 months is not asking too much Or is it:confused1:

  18. I am only 41 and does not take me 2 days to get over one is a big jobbie harder to get over than 3 different 1/3 size jobs
