  4. I hope the pictures do them justice the plastic curved bit is so it can put pressure on that area underneath the far end just clips on when wrapped and does hold it tight. Honestly not sure but think this was a large
  5. some have changed and some are missing I have quite a few that dont exist now:confused1:
  6. why would you want to ban things that are not allowed in the first place:confused1:

    Rigging rope.

agreed And Double braid rigging is not a solid rope which allows it to flatten out on on portawraps ect so aids in grip and heat dissapation What kind of weight are you after. I would either say 13mm XTC or sirius which i know treeworker sells
  8. Nice anchor frame Wish my kitchen was big enough to fit that in Where did you get it from and what use did it have. Ps is it really stiff now you finally got it in. I would imagine it will be hard to whip:thumbup:
  9. 17.51 for hitchclimber
  10. sorry Its called Treemotion bridge rope and it comes in green and short lenghts:blushing:available from most arb suppliers:thumbup:

    Rigging rope.

is this for pulley and capstan or Natural:blushing: Double esterlon is NO good for natural
  15. I just bought one from on here and it came with a 14incher but i put 12 straight on but i use 12 on 200T anyhow:thumbup:
  16. The rope is specially designed and made just for the bridge. Also not many ropes of that diameter actually come in over 22kn. Also issues re loler and all that jazz. which rope do you know of that is made to the same spec.? But at around a tenner for the correct one why bother risking it. If any rope would do they would just fit any and not bother supplying replacements. If I had spent over £300 inc vat on a harness i would not have an issue replacing with a genuine bridge:confused1:
  17. treeMOTION Sliding D Connection
  18. I was once offered suitable cord as they were out of stock. I went elsewhere:thumbup:
  19. Just get one they are cheap enough. If ever you have a slight doubt follow your heart and get one Most suppliers sell them But buy a genuine one
  20. did you enjoy the challenge or was it a pain in the backside. I usually enjoy something a bit out of the norm
  21. first question is what is your Gut feeling I have done a fair amount of trees that others have turned down but turned down a few that others have done. If you are unsure then it will really affect what you do. It is more about what you do though ie doing a branch walk from a high anchor will have much more cause for concern than spiking up and stripping as you go. as a second point is it worth the risk against how many others you can do in the next 46 yrs till you retire:thumbup:
  22. yep Army field dressing Steve will try to remember to take a series of photo,s Tbh got them a while ago it was just another thread re Arb kits that reminded me. Personally I think they would actually work and help rather than what most of us have in the box in the van They are all within easy rip out reach in all the vehicles as well rather than hidden and forgotten about.
  23. just as an update Got a few from Nod at Treeworker Did not buy any spares as no plans to use them. We did open 1 so all staff could have a go at putting it on and working out how to do it. Very good bit of kit and well worth the money. and a box of whipping twine just in case it got really serious
  24. Personally i think they will all be similar. I believe they will all break at the end of the taper. Personally i would of gone for a longer or certainly smoother taper but look forward to the results if i ever notice them. PM would be nice:thumbup:
  25. Ash Makes nice firewood or any dead ones
