  2. the problem with the double knot is been able to load both loops evenly if one is loaded more the knot distorts though looks to have wider bend radius

  12. today was the first time they let me in it and that was as they went home and it needed tipping was truly amazed how easy it was as the chipper is 2,25ton and twin wheeled so accuracy matters:thumbup:

  17. I have a climbing goundie which i pay well and another to chip brash £15 a day
  18. sorry not a negative but if you used a revolver with the pulley built in clipped to a leg when you go out though a v you will overcome this I use a swivel on harness and can use mine left or right But i like to use the left hand for those special jobs:blushing:

  21. This is one of the reasons i prefer the spiderjack. If you use the 13 as soon as you get any wear it will start to slip and the 11-12 does not flow through the same till it gets a bit of wear
  22. could the spec have been a crown clean certainly looks like they scrubbed it all away:biggrin:

Old certs are a touchy subject as the assessment criteria was different ie was yours done by an independent assessor rather than the trainer Also the assessment criteria has changed a fair bit The arb association would want you to update as would HSE But if your happy and the insurance company are happy then all well and good And as previously said they recomend updates within 5 yrs for regular users and 3 for casual users.
