  1. Dead easy to do We buy ours in 100ft reels and just cut and join back together. You just need a chain breaker and a re riveter and spare tie straps. Our local dealer does the same. Where are you based
  2. The petzle clear stickers are very sticky and then glue your to that would be my suggestion 24 of em on a sheet and pretty cheap Most arb suppliers sell em or pm me your address and will send you a couple
  3. Fine for rock climbing but 10mm min for tree climbing in uk of you you wish to comply with legislation
  4. Armour prus has CE issues if that bothers you. Tennex and ice tail are low melting point so depends how you use it tbh but certainly beware if long descents Not saying I have not used them but just be carefull
  5. Interesting Some are not ce though and some not ideally suited to friction cord. Be carefully guys
  6. Nice BUTT
  7. Looks wooonderfull Wish I could do it
  8. Again please don't think I am been picky but why would you make em suck it up and wear helmets for future videos. Either you think they should wear helmets or not. At some point try to work with a guy who CAN use spikes and you will be amazed how much faster and more efficient he will be and what is more important safer as work positioning is so much better. Please note I have not watched your videos just read some of the posts. Don't be put off posting vids as I now think when you watch your own vids you will understand more about what they mean and how they can be interpreted. Enjoy Bob
  9. Are you off camping again?
  10. Spot on as usual dean
  11. Why is it a stunt fell? Shame no big woooo hooooo at the end That's usually the bit I like most
  12. 10 mm for main line and 8 for a doubled up friction hitch when climbing trees How many of you are qualified as this is the basics in the assessment. Rock climbing is totally different as recreational. Very few ropes under 10mm are 22kn and some at 10 mm are still not so worth checking anyhow as 10 mm and 22 kn are the requirements.
  13. Is the acop a legal document or guidance
  14. bob

    Instruction .

If by how the driving instructor trained them was a integral part of the accident then yes they are liable. Obviously they do carry professional indemnity insurance. Thoughts
  15. We have a couple Big bess Donkey dick Grumpy Guess all 3 and you win tonight's award for pointless quiz
  16. Got a few but tbh not looked at them for a long time. At least 2 have had to be removed and re fixed although the last would of certainly been ok for another 10 yrs in reality. But we don't have any as tall as that I think the highest will be around 15 ft
  17. Try old snake off here
  18. Where are you based. North west is a large area
  19. I would not like to comment on your personal standard re dismantling a tree on an open forum as not everyone would appreciate the time taken to reply and I could spend all night commenting on your individual shortfalls. Have a nice Easter and don't eat too many eggs
  20. It allows you cut all the tree except using ropes. Following the current assessment that is Currently 2 step cut hand held 2 step cut free fall 2 sink cut hand held 2 sink cut free fall 2 vertical sections Inc 2 pruning cuts and use of a tape sling. That's the minimum This confusion is why the assessments were changed approx 2 yrs ago to include the vertical sections.
  21. Is that an XL?
  22. I love my 201 better and more power than the 200T Hated the husky 338 and will certainly not be buying a 540 till it has been out a while. Amazing how much flack new stuff gets from all the initial buyers expectations
  23. There are old fools but less brave old fools. Not saying I would not do it but is that few hundered quid worth the potential consequences? That's what I ask myself these days
  24. my belief is yes for northern but i think southern is not as cut and dried but tends to use the same legislation ect I have done some work over there and that is what i was told anyhow.
  25. Went through the hedge hit the BMW and just flew. Think he was going a bit fast
