  2. retrevable rigging blocks can be installed from the ground, easy to explain, if i had some photos:thumbdown: tieing it off at the ground will increase the load at the anchor point by x4!

  4. if thats the case its very good value:thumbup1: after attending my last first aid course and been told what we could and couldnt have in the 'box' which was bascally bandages and water:thumbdown: and i understand the reasons behind wanting a box like this on site, but (just for been a bit perdantic) wouldnt it be better to look at reducing the risk/chance of using the contents?

  7. dave would your standard 3 day 'first aid at work' course cover you to use all the exta bits in this kit that are not in your regulation (1981)box or are we moveing on, to a higher level of first 'responder'?

  13. the date and location will be anounced 'hopfully' next week, the entry fee will be £60 or £30 for isa members, it wont be easy but i guess you get what you pay for. So far there is over £3,000 in cash, for prizes:thumbup:
  14. as some jobs you just cant do without breaking some rule or other:sneaky2:you have just got to be confident that the rule breaking task is within your own capability:001_rolleyes:
  15. a hitch is never too short or too long its is just tied to suit the user! so for me it would be ok for a side strop but too short for a main line, which porbably dos'nt help

  17. i think that you have to have the to have a couple of years, at least, of your isa cert left, to be able to transfer, so its current.
  18. i think that its an idea worth working on:thumbup1: just looking at the binner though and its too small for all those ropes, the loading is too close to the nose, i think that a hms type would work better here.
  19. will a 12.5mm spliced eye go through the small pinto pullie?
