  6. "ha ha..just told him to rip cut the poop sack!"
  7. There sure is Steve, I think it relates to a percentage of your assets and turnover - called gearing but I don't know what is considered acceptable. Most big business is almost entirely financed hence why we have such major economic catastrophes now. The main trouble if lack of physical assets of any value.
  8. Beautiful Vid!
  9. Would say 11/12 Rob, Descending is just a matter of getting used to it - Different anchor points /trees behave differently (smoother/smaller = better) - try it from a cambium saver to keep things consistant
  10. Looking good Ewan!
  11. Great pictures of a thoroughly enjoyable weekend! I think I speak for all of the Kentish contingent when I say big thanks to the organisers and crew! We had a brilliant time and look forward to coming back!
  12. Hi Mark! I'm good thanks mate - we've been doing a lot in Ashford recently and looks like we will have a fair bit more coming up fingers crossed. Though now march is out the way things may settle down a bit - missing domestic garden work! Was really pleased to read that you got a job with what seems to be a good outfit. You'll go from strengh to strengh mate and what a lovely time of year. I'm off to norfolk show next weekend, but it would be great to catch up at Jonesies or somethin. Good luck with it all - let us know if you ever need any help. Enjoy your weekend Cheers Dan

  13. Congratulations Mark! Well chuffed for you man!
  14. I know what you mean! Is a lovely pear though - I think removal is to harsh! I would suggest Ash out then light corrective thin, reduction for less than 200, no point in pruning too hard or re-pollarding. Then just keep it in check every 4 years or so. Garage looks rubbish!
  15. I say the garage!! Altho the ash could be removed without too much heart break!
  16. Might be of interest to some of you! All donations to aid relief in Japan! Punk 4 Japan Compilation - Raising money for victims of the earthquake
  17. Good Work Hama!! I left Watford three years ago and spent many of my formative ahem years in Whippendell woods a fantastic place with some amazing trees!
  18. Love the pics from days gone by! Thanks for posting/sharing!
  19. Always adds a little more when the place is called willow house! Nice red. Matt!
  20. RIP Adam
  21. Fast as you like here maybe problem with your cache or something techinical like that??
  22. Looked like a fun tree for swingin about in - especially with the wind a blowin! Sorry I didn;t make it one of our party dropped out and i needed spend some time with the wife! Glad you all had a good one! roll on summer!
  23. If it were me I would just buy a 15" bar for the 260...both saws work fine and I think you have most things covered......maybe investing in a bigger bar would be preferable. If you want a new saw then sell them both and buy one, but as they both work ok I wouldn;t bother for now.
  24. Doesn't really make sense! You say you have a 441? So why not just buy a new 15" bar? Don;t see the point in selling saws that are working fine. Hope that helps!
