Is this a case of swings and roundabouts? Wine is cheaper in France? Etc.... I confess to having a "hate" thing about Amazon. The idea than they can make billions here yet flick fingers at us all by not paying their dues prevents me from having ought to do with them! It isn't the Government that they are shafting, it is you!

I got told the other day that the Driver CPC has a doubtful future - indeed, by the end of this year it may be history! Anyone heard anything else? From what I understand, most people who have been on the course say that the only benefit was to the Training and Certification industry!

Surely VAT registration means that while the tax is chargeable on all your sales, the amount that you pay in your purchases is reclaimed against that! Being unregistered and selling stuff isn't a way out of paying or charging value added tax?

The comment on a vat free purchase is a worry as vat should be charged on everything (excepting the exceptions), all the time and on every occasion.

Don't know the front axle set up, but Landrovers can get king pin castor angle issues when worn, this can cause an issue but felt through the steering wheel. Or as said, check your uj's

My first was an Arboreater back in the late 80's/early 90's. It cost £10,500 + vat and you can get a better machine, new, for less than that amount! I would sell you a new GreenMech 130 for £10,350 - Platts at Darley Dale are not far from you either.....

Apparently, the DVSA only are bothered with what's on the computer, not how much fuel etc. It is a fairly new phenomenon for databases to be linked and isn't a leap of faith for it to be real. I know of a VW buff who had a van and that is restricted but the Camper version of the same vehicle (and same weight) is not. A German colleague is of the same opinion of what is happening in their spot too.

Rent in. I need the exercise, fed up of shite sawmill offcuts that father in law gets, just considering the options of getting a load in and cutting with a processor rather than a circular saw bench and then splitting. Offered an artic load in the round at about £46 per tonne and working the sums!

There is some evidence that they are linked, some evidence that some commercials are restricted and I have now got a Ranger with a kerb weight of 2200kg so I hope that I am wrong too.

Hadlow College have a group of Ag Engineering students around today, while doing the walk around prior to them arriving, I spotted this pale blue colour unit going through. I'll post a full picture when it is done. It is very similar to the old blue colour that was used for the Baromix Cement Mixers that where made here.

VE63YYP. Was in Scotland for about a year than I have had it. New engine at 100K (Ford fitted), new DPF at 102k (Ford fitted) and new intercooler fitted by Jason the other week. MOT was late Jan and had tyres for that. Will be supplied valeted and free of sign writing. I put a couple of patches on the front bumper after it got caught, and she has a few other dinks wish you could put down to 'pedigree'. Put a bid in!

Thanks you two! VE63YYU Julian's car for a couple of years. Full service history and had quality tyres fitted last year and a new one the other day. Will be supplied valeted and free of sign writing. I will put these on another site before long too. The nearest this has been to 'off road' is the ArbShow or a caravan site! All sensible offers will be listened to.

If you consider the miles that they cover, then it starts to level out. Ford paid for the engine and the DPF, an intercooler was sub £125. Yes, I had grief with the one dealer and unhelpful service from another. AA trips too were infuriating, but, the decision to stay Western hemisphere limited our options. Availability took a part in the decision making process as these were in a localish spot but ordering two would take four months (according to one place) I'll load the pictures shortly.

Okay! Pics loaded before I go to the AA. Both 2013, both 2.2 XLT, both with full history, both motorway mile towtugs, straight and honest with no vices. Both on the original clutch (how far is it from Newcastle to Nottinghamshire without changing gear!, or Glasgow to south of Preston?). Mine gathered a few scars but they wear them well. Well shod, longish MOT, 13 pin electrics and hard tops! We decided that, on balance, Ford where as decent as the rest and were Western hemisphere. There were horror stories about 60mph top speeds, lower tow weights, busted chassis, poor gearboxes etc about every make going but mine had issues whereas the other hadn't had much bother and these were in stock! New orders were a few months away!!!!

Well, there she goes! The old bus did 186k miles and has been replaced! We had a few issues along the way and those were mainly dealership issues. New engine at 100k, new DPF shortly after, new intercooler just lately too. Anyone want to make a bid? Her sister is up too with 146k? Any bids or offers?

From memory, and there are better qualified people to advise you, to get a PTS ticket, you need to be employed or at least, sponsored, by a Network Rail approved contractor. Like Stevie says, QTS are a big outfit with a depot in Nottingham, Cirencester, as well as various other places. The testing for drugs and alcohol can be done anywhere but by an approved company and there are a few NR depots around Birmingham, has to put you forward. Are you looking to make yourself available to the rail contractors as a cutter?

Tell you what Stu, those bamboo darts do right well in an auger fed biomass Plant! I did some willow sticks for a chap in the Welsh Borders thinking it was a waste of time. These came out like darts but they went through the the auger, much to my amazement! I ate a big bowel of Umble Pie, apologised for being a doubter, and left the machine with him!

With sharp blades and well adjusted, chip quality is usually quite good on a CS100.
