  1. Go for it Mr Haines!
  2. Anti elitist twaddle in my mind. If he is an anti, what is he doing at the LSE when he could study the same at a Uni at home.....what is he doing at Uni instead of working....prat needed drowning then expelling from Uni then sent home in disgrace. I hope that the Olympic games do not suffer from such buffoons either and I'm not in favour of the games myself!
  3. Sorry, I've not looked into this in any great detail....a GreenMech 150 pro is "side fed", so could lend itself to this kind of conversion. But, ditto previous comments....how will you drive any chipper? Why only 6"? Why not get a moggy? Will it be dear to run on white diesel?
  4. You could try ringing Tony Saunders at Homegrown Timber down by Crawley, they do stuff Nationwide. I'll send you his mobile later as a txt. Cheers Matt

    Jokes???

A doctor examining a woman who had been rushed to the Emergency Room, Took the husband aside, and said, 'I don't like the look of your wife at all.' 'Me neither doc,' said the husband. 'But she's a great cook and really good with the kids.'
  6. Many years ago, I had a Range Rover LSE for a house car that occasionally towed a chipper and went across ploughed fields if I was surveying sites. One farmer said that it was a majestic sight seeing a stretched RR going across a wet set aside field at speed! Tony Saunders of Homegrown went everywhere in his RR Sport, and John Straka of JS Agriculture used his doing rail deveg, back was full of fuel/oil and saws, long reach stuff went between the front seats!
  7. I had a GreenMech on my 1200 - worked a treat in 1000 speed too. A new GreenMech CM220 (9") would fit a treat at under a ton - if you want a demo, I'll organise it! Just send me a pm...
  8. No matter whether you are employed or self employed, if you are using your truck for someone else's benefit then surely a "mileage allowance" should reflect that you are enhancing his service/profit margin. It will still be cheaper than him buying and running another vehicle! I would also have a reconsider about the insurance too. If it is insured for you as a self employed person, fair play, but, if you are employed and using for someone else's gain - then it might not be covered as the goal posts have moved!
  9. Hi Paul, I cannot remember what we spoke about back then. I'll ask a few people, I think there is one or two being traded in sometime soon. when are you looking and how much budget have you.. Send me a pm or txt my GreenMech mobile 07774 282481. Cheers Pete

    Jokes???

My wife says a small penis shouldn't matter in a loving relationship. I guess not, but I'd still prefer if she didn't have one.
  11. Tell Mark Parnham t Kilworth what you intend to use it for and he will be honest and advise you as to whether it is wholly suitable or not. The Kilworth people have an excellent reputation for honesty and integrity in the trade so you know that you are in safe hands.

    Jokes???

I ended up with an older woman at a club last night. She looked OK for a 61 year-old. In fact, she wasn't too bad at all, and I found myself thinking that she probably had a really great looking daughter. We drank a bit, had a bit of a snuggle, and then she asked if I'd ever had a Sportsman's Double. 'What's that?' I asked, thinking maybe a beer and whisky mix. 'A mother and daughter threesome,' she said. I said 'No' - excitedly. '...never had one of those.' We drank a bit more, then she said that tonight was 'my lucky night'. So we went back to her place. She put on the hall light and shouted upstairs: 'Mum, you still awake?
  13. Check through the whole system. The gas damper in the tow hitch maybe loosing its effectiveness thus allowing the brakes to come on too quick and skid/bounce. The cables may need replacing if the have a kink in them, try to dribble oil down the outer to see if lubricating them helps or just replace them. Then re-adjust them in the approved manner so that the drum/shoes are centralised, then road test again! Good Luck.
  14. Ha Ha, Not quite Rob.. All that effort and cost for a crane fed machine and it is 37hp and 6" only! no matter the make, it seems like too much cost for very little output unless it is put in a situation where man cannot go but machinery can. Throughput would be poor compared to hand fed version!
  15. Do you think so? If I was to have a remote crane fed only job, then it would be better on a machine about three times that size! Why have a small crane fed machine such as a 540? no point really, you cannot feed it by hand because of the design of chute and the height makes it hard work, and the cost of the conversion must have been insane! Fair play for putting it together though.
  16. I would get a GreenMech of course!
  17. Right Folks, Erm, next wednesday..... Nip along and have a wee gander!
  18. Options? GreenMech:sneaky2: Whatever you decide to buy, money is a cheap commodity at the moment... Interest rates are at an all time low, so now is the time to try and expand any business whilst the costs of doing so are cheap! HP, Lease, Hire/Buy are all good deals at the moment as long as you have no black marks against your name. Good Luck with your choice!
  19. They are loading to go now.....tomorrow is the first day! Get along and have one of Fern's best Bacon sandwiches and see the GreenMech range....
  20. Give Global sales a ring at Kings Heath, ask to hire or demo a CS100 and decide what is best for you.
  21. Shifting weight distribution is the killer on this type of device!
  22. Thought I might get the Ex some for mothers day!
  23. Hasn't Stevie. Blair got one yet?
  24. TBH, that price is what I would expect someone to pay for a QuadChip. Take into the account the extra benefits and it is cheap! I quoted someone a bit more the other day too.
  25. I came round your yard the other week with one but you was out!
