  1. I got an su manifold surplus!
  2. It will get worse! It might take a while, but it will deteriorate. I would leave it for a while as it might be best to yak the engine out or you might get away with removing the front panel and radiators. If you yak the motor, check the clutch and rear seal too.
  3. What a simple but worthwhile addition - well done to those concerned.

    Forst??

not to be confused with Camel's toe Ian....I'll have one lasered out just for you!

Sorry there, been away to Devon with the wench! If you want a turned socket from GM, ask me!!! Or a crows foot!!!
  6. Phone Jenkinsons? Tony Saunders might be worth a call too.
  7. You got a fair amount in that chip box Stuart!
  8. Frogsy does a bit for Chris Ball Forestry, you could try any ground care or lawn mower outfit.....they would have a surface grinder as would a good engineering company.
  9. Using a chipper with a broken or inoperative No Stress device willnot do any further damage but it will block up with chips when the flywheel slows down and isn't producing the blow that is needed to clear the chips out.
  10. If you got a hole but no thread, use a bit and bolt with some fibre washers to clamp the flap at the required angle.
  11. David and I discussed this earlier today. It does sound like a fuel issue and not oil burning as compression values are good.
  12. I'd look to crankcase breather too. Poor rings would show smoke perpetually as well as poor performance through bad compression.
  13. Ouch! Nasty nick there! Hope the op went well and good luck for a speedy recovery.
  14. Welcome to the Wee Chipper Club! Just because it isn't a CS100 doesn't get you barred, the ethos is all about being small isn't wrong! A 10" chipper is a good thing but you wouldn't push it around a house into the back garden!
  15. Alan Oldfield at Beaver Plant at Stamford Bridge has a Forestry spec base unit with the full one kit! Call him for details....
  16. 2nd that call!
  17. Come on Jonny, just one piece of kit of uninsured repatriated is a bonus! If people could take the to time etch, weld, paint stamp whatever, their postcodes, vat numbers, reg numbers - anything and then report it when stolen, the market or need then dwindles..... Full marks to Steve Bulman for taking a first step! Jonny? Get with the he programming!
  18. The CLA lost a shed load on Belvoir when that was cancelled a couple of years ago, and I think that, like many shows and sales events are in jeopardy as they are so expensive to exhibit at. So they get in a spiral of exhibitors not attending because buyers not buying, therefore attendance goes down while costs still rise. A trade show with no trade is a meeting in a field.
  19. The moderators can edit out swear words, and other such bad behaviour.......
  20. What an epic match!
  21. I know their Scottish rep. Al Thompson used to work for GreenMech and we are good friends so I'll run it by him next week.
  22. I reckon you scared into buying it! Say hi to to the Tavy team when you see them to!!!!
  23. Yesterday, we had a stand at Scothort at Ingliston, Edinburgh. Twas a pita to get a machine up a ramp and down a corridor to get it on the stand. Took me, Jason from Orange and three others much head scratching and grunting to achieve. The show ended and we borrowed Davy, Henderson's driver and his crane lorry - simple job to get her out again! Straight off the balcony! No sweat.....
  24. Blimey! Should know this but keep forgetting! Glebe Green! RAL Code *"&'!
  25. I sometimes think that they get the first and lie in wait for your new shiny things to get delivered and have a second/3rd go! Hope you have some luck in life....chin up, chest out and be strong!
