  1. What welders do people have ?, after doing some onsite welding I'm looking for something a bit more compact. Are these inverter welders any good, I use an old school one that is 20years old still going strong.

    Nextbase from halfords, Dean had the 512 I think, helped him when someone smashed into him on two occasions.
  4. They would probably split Steve, you could try soaking them in pva and hope for the best, or let them split and then cast them in resin and then sand. Then you can add photolumesant (sp) powder into the cracks to make it glow.

  11. If you've been in IT for 30 years how about something constructive to say, apart from this cluttered crap. To me it's mobile friendly and even better on the PC, yes there's adverts on the mobile version to which might make it slightly slower loading than the app, but plenty of times I've wanted to use one of the companies advertising when using the app. So no difference really. So toddle pip.

  13. I've unclicked request desktop site on Firefox for my mobile much easier to use. Press the top right 3 dots then list.

  17. You can apply for gross payment status when you register for CIS. This means the contractor won’t make deductions from your payments and you’ll pay all your tax and National Insurance at the end of the tax year.
  18. My mum couldn't find parking in the staff car park, so used the hospital multistory. Had to get ticket as permit for staff parking , got parking fine for working way over her shift. Even tho you could see her permit sticker.....parking company told her to piss off basically. Should parking for staff be free...yes, but if you have to pay supply ample spaces.
