  1. Believe me, I tried... Anyway he's retiring next year so I'll find out what he really thinks then.
  2. Not at all. I'm actually unsure about the agenda behind all this. My longest suffering mate is a soldier and he hasn't been sacked for knowing me, so they can't be too hot on associations with unscrupulous characters.
  3. Not sure, I think you've just got to do whatever they tell you to do. Maybe they don't like their workers associating with fraudsters and wife beaters.
  4. If you sign up for the Army, you sign up for their rules.
  5. One of my favourite guitar solos of all time, He gets the most out of that one note:

What do you call a hen staring at a lettuce? Chicken Caesar Salad.
  11. You can't go wrong with a 14" sugihara from Rob on your 200t.
  12. Well, I have this ability to see the facts for what they are. You might gain it one day or you might not, that's not my problem nor my concern. I like life on the transgressive edge, it's massively more entertaining and rewarding than life on the passive aggressive edge. You should try it.
  13. And that makes ye what exactly? Ha ha what a melt. Gan back under your rock.
  14. How very astute of you Tim. Hail Stalin!
  15. Lets's be honest, We all know that they've got our best interests at heart.
  16. Generalisations get you nowhere. 'Lets be honest' and 'I'm sure we all agree' are shan proposals. Get a grip.
  17. The Great Wall of Scotland Version 2.0.
  18. You'd have to be a moron to think these people were unsuitable to rule the country.
  19. Or Cameron's.
  20. " Delegate Norman Steele said: “As a wealthy retiree whose life is a routine of lawn-mowing and petty boundary disputes, the highlight so far has been complaining about breakfast at my hotel because they wouldn’t let me have seven sausages "...

  22. I'm flat out surveying till February. Then I'm going to Thailand for a while. When I get back I'm keen to get a vehicle. What I'd do with an old truck is fit the meatiest sound system I could find and go hang out with like minded people in a field.
  23. Well mate, all you can possibly do, is lock everyting up as well as you can. Might be worth investing in some kind of bollard in front of your place, anything that slows them down or inconveniences them enough to feckoff somewhere else. Make it as bomb proof as you can. Loud alarms and strobe lights are good at attracting attention. The idea is to make them bugger off somewhere else. You can get gizmo's that will text you if they move, I think motorbike places sell them, you could attach them to said bollard. Despite what many say, confronting a few wronguns, and it will be a few, in your boxer shorts with a pick axe handle probable isn't going to work out too well for you.
