I know... The other likely candidate is Jeremy Hunt, who isn't much better and he's been keeping his distance throughout the whole pandemic. I'll just get the popcorn out and see what unfolds.

Being anti-tory doesn't equate with being pro-labour. I reckon Michael Gove is likely to be the next PM.

I've heard of a Glendales yard being a good place, where there are experienced people who will help develop peoples careers. I've also heard of places where the work is so generic that there's no incentive to stay. Money plays a big part in these things but there is something to be said for getting up to production climbing speed and places like Glendales can give you that experience. I suppose it depends on the people involved and the location.

Yes, if determined that it is a roost then a Level 2 bat licensed person/ecologist will have to be involved with mitigation. Ideally you want to find someone trained in secondary roost surveys - including endoscope use. They will be able to determine if it is indeed a roost.

A two week turnaround from the council is quite quick. Is the tree significantly compromised? Does the spec of the new report correspond to the wording of the initial TPO application?
