  2. a pic of me.............. its my best side!
  3. good pics. i've stil never done a crane job. enjoy.
  4. if i were you i'd be doing firewood full time. since tree surgeons in your area are getting between £200 - £300 per day for 2 men plus truck and chipper - it's all people are willing to pay!
  5. by the time you take into account all the manual handling i bet you'd make less by splitting it. i stopped doing firewood 4 years ago. its only good for 1 thing and thats getting a bad back.
  6. imagine they are shoes for the horses then.......... they will last a bit longer though.
  7. has anyone used a makita dcs 520? I've been offered a new 1 very cheap. whats it the equivalent of?
  8. i own both a stihl petrol and silky 4.9m. i love the silky for dead wooding whilst in the tree. the stihl doesn't see much action though. im after a ratceting head for the silky pole now.
  9. looks like fun to me. good pics.
  10. 2 x 200t 1x14" 1x16" 2 x 346xp 13" and 15" 1 x ms341 15" 1 x ms361 15" or 20" 1 x 372xp 24" 1 x pos ms650 30" or 36" 1 x 090 in pieces
  11. i'd get a 361 over a 341 any day. i have both and the 361 is far better.
  12. i love boxers. we used to have 6 of them when i was a lad.
  13. good pics. what are the slings with karabiners for in the first pic? i do enjoy a good take down.
  14. out on a beach limb, my mates mog and wh you shouldnt go off roading on the sand!
  15. the cp88 tactical looks better. my local gunshop is pants though.
  16. its a copy of the walther cp88. its a .177 webley air pistol, its just for tin cans in the workshop. it is powered by co2 cartridges. it has an 8 or 10 shot mag in it aswell. its good fun when you get back from a bad day.
  17. mine runs fine with a 24", i use it more than my ms650 because of the weight and it seems more reliable.i will probably have a spare 18 inch bar if you want 1. i'll have a look tomorrow if i get a chance.
  18. a few of my pics. the first is my groundie pete shifting pine logs. the owners son had lit a fire at the base of the tree while they were on holiday the shed went up and the tree was shagged. second is just a spruce i was putting a rope up so we could fell it. most of the timber was planked. third is just a leaning pine. forth a beach take down and fifth is me outside my front door.
  19. mine has a 24" on most of the time. i run my ms200t with 12", 14" 0r 162 depending on what im climbing, 361 with a 15" or 20" and my (crappy) ms650 with a 30" or 36". so it fits in well between my other saws. my mate who does firewood runs his with a 15" and very little rakers!
  20. i was thinking gut size!
  21. if you got that you might have to change your name to Extremely Big A, but it is cool.
  22. did you not pass a big lay by on the way back?
  23. mine get washed once a week normally depends on how much work ive done though.
