  1. great video reg. what lowering ropes are you using? my hobbs arrived last friday, only used it on a small spruce so far, got some good jobs lined up for it though.

  4. i get to use my old mans td5 discovery whenever i need it, i some times take that when going to look at certain jobs aswell. did you look at the audi Q7? i've often wondered what they are like.
  5. i gave 3 ladies a lift to town in the front of it 1 night. it was very tight and gear changing was fun :wave:
  6. nice car mate. so whats it for? any particular reason for getting a 4x4? My mate has 1 of the older ones. its nice but i prefer proper 4x4s.
  7. im going to my girl friends sister (who i cant stand) wedding on the 19th. i did mention missing the wedding to go climbing and my lass thought i was joking. hopefully next time.

  9. im freelance climbing more and more nowadays and wanted something simple enough for the numpties i climb for to use without me having to come down and slap people for getting things wrong. :wave: i've got 14mm marlow at the moment and don't mind it, just wondered if there is anything much better.
  10. I'm after a couple of new lowering ropes to use with my new hobbs. Can anyone recommend any decent ropes? i was thinking of a 16mm or 18mm and a 12mm for small stuff for use with the porty.
  11. i avoid cities like the plague. I'm heading up to the lakes tomorrow, will maybe get a new mountain bike. Zest cafe in whitehaven is supposed to serve really nice food from what I've been told.
  12. yeah im well chuffed with it. got a few jobs lined up for it already. will hopefully get some get to use it on monday.
  13. my shiney new toy arrived today. i've been thinking about getting 1one for the last 2 years.
  14. i spent 2 weeks in germany in munich. it was mainly removing spruce and birch and dead oaks in the city grave yard. obviously i didnt see much but from what i can gather they use SRT alot and everything looked very professional. it didnt seem that much more advanced though.
  15. my mate supplies B&Q with bags of wet larch. he sells thousands of bags a year, believe me the producer gets very little for the bags think its just over £1 a bag.
  16. i got crashed into the day before the gales about 3 years ago. my pick up was off the road for over a month, i was furious. i had the womans husband phone me up and say " i believe you crashed into my wife today!" muppets.

  18. i was in bowness and windermere today working. it was hell. tourists everywhere . the lakes are great if you know where to go.
  19. i spend my time shooting at my friends farm, long boarding, mountain boarding, cooking for my friends and family.
  20. we had easter buuny stew with dumplings last night, was beautiful.
  21. me boarding, me in fancy dress as a monk and last is a friend on a night out.
  22. nice boarding pic mate. did you mountain board in cortina?
  23. id avoid them both, they are both underpowered. id go for a 361 if you want to run an 18" bar. it might weigh more but it has bags more power.
