  3. im climbing for another company tomorrow. i'll be gutted if we end up doing storm damage work. he has waited 3 weeks for me so i cant really cancel.

  7. the biggest tree i felled today was maybe 14" by about 50 foot. you've gotta love snedding larch, its the best.

  13. a few pics from a woodland job i started today. we are removing all the larch and leaving the ash. 2nd pic is pete my groundie cooking bacon and eggy crumpets
  14. its my groundies chipper. i've used it a few times when mine has been being serviced or fixed. it's bloody reliable, their is nothing to it.
  15. my best friend from years and years ago phoned me out of the blue once and said " i've cut some trees down in a conservation area and now the tree officer is pi$$ed, can i tell her you did the work?" this lad is 27 driving round in a brand new range rover and owns a construction company..... i said errrrrrrrrrrrr no get foooked.
  16. i was using a very early entec trukloader yesterday.i had one many years ago. it brought back some good memories but i only used it for 5 minutes........ thank god.
  17. i was once told never cross your arms, put your hands in your pocket, or go anywhere empty handed at work. good pics though.
  18. i hate it when customers say " i hate cutting trees.................., will you reduce my beach by half though, it blocks the sun in the evening." even though there are trees behind which will block just as much light.

  21. i think they are in the new stihl cataloge aswell now.
  22. less power but lighter than the 200t, i'll be putting a smaller bar on it aswell. the lad has had it for about a year but only used it for about an hour.
  23. spot on. i was chuffed to bits. not sure how much use it will get though.
