  2. Get a jungle buster a heavy ground flail
  3. Stump removal grinding If the protected tree has already gone then permission must have been obtained The Blue book says offences are cuts down uproots or wilfully destroys a TREE or tops, lops or wilfully damages A TREE in a way that it is likely to destroy it the definition of A TREE is not specified in the legislation Although there is distinction made for shrubs or bushes which are not covered by this legislation However I believe it to be along the lines of A woody perenial plant that supports leaf bearing branch structure At some height So IMO stump grinding is exempt , however Do your own checks with your own TO LA planning officer & get a written statement as to their policy if there is any doubt as to the changeability of their views

  6. No probs & basically this is a card that most construction sites require as a prove of H&S awareness for the relevant trade It however might be taken by the unenlightened Site Manager as being a skills card Which quite clearly it isnt Very Dodgy thats why As a NPTC ASSESSOR I have brought this to their attention of NPTC HQ they can then promote their skills certifcates to the construciton industry
  7. TEXT FROM CSCS email Good Afternoon All of our occupations related to trees are CRO’s and do not require any qualifications. Please see are website http://www.cscs.uk.com To apply for a CSCS card we have a service called Skills Direct which is a simpler, faster way of getting your CSCS card. The cost is £41.97 payable by credit/debit card only (Skills Direct do not accept American Express). The fee includes the cost of a Health & Safety Test and the CSCS Card Application; this will be completed at the centre with your photograph also being taken at the centre. Once we receive your fully completed application form you will receive your card within 7 – 10 days. To book this up you will need to contact 0870 850 5262. this I have forwarded to NPtc
  8. Ads ensure the survival of a forum that is Free to its users So I really cant complain in the main they are just part of the screen appearance to myself ,however they do offer a good easy route to relevant sites. this site is in its infancy really, so advertisers who are already here should do well as the site becomes more popular
